What do you call polls that show all Republicans beating Biden then?

A demonstration on why using polls to predict elections is folly.

According to polling AND historical trends Dems should have gotten crushed in like the last 4 elections and the only major victory by the GOP was a 5 seat majority in the House which has become an albatross around their neck.

What? Everyone is saying it's no big deal. That's ignoring a glaring problem. If young voters opt out of voting in 2024, Biden loses all the ground he won in 2020.

If that was the case Virginia wouldn't have Democratic majority state legislature now. They got that because most young people are still voting Democrat and now in higher numbers than before. And during an odd year election where turnout is always lower than a presidential year.

Joe Biden was not on the ballot in Virginia. Or Kentucky.

Why are people deluding themselves saying this nonsense over and over?

What led to those appointments is Dems don't play the bullshit games Republicans play when it comes to nominating and voting on judicial candidates. It's one of the areas they are most disappointingly ineffectual in because they allowed McCon to just steal Garland's nomination vote for 8 months cause "muh election", then made no real opposition to Gorsuch, who replaced Scalia, they had a laughable hearing for Kavanaugh, and rammed Barrett through 2 weeks before Trump lost an election with Feinstein hugging Graham and saying it was the best hearing she'd ever been to or something.

Even if the Dems had a supermajority in 2018 they'd still have voting on Trump's candidates and most likely would still vote for their approval.

What led to Trump getting those judges is him winning in 2016 because people didn't accept him for the threat he was even though millions of us were saying it since 2015.

You are forgetting that the US gen electorate has a very short memory when it comes to politics. This conflict is still happening a year away from the election. As long as it doesn't drag on too long and if the U.S. can successfully negotiate the ceasefire/an actual resolution to this, there's a lot that can happen until then.

Like I said in another recent post, none of these elections have been about liking Biden, it's been about rejecting Trumpism and the extremity of the Christo-fascist GOP.

Settlers regularly do things like pour concrete into Palestinian water and plumbing systems and flood their farm fields with raw sewage. They specifically design the settlements to drain their sewage in such a way as to fuck over the Palestinians.
