I feel like you missed my overall point.

The person was asking another poster why they associated being vegan with being liberal, as they see it as apolitical, and I pointed out that people have grown to see it that way because it is right-wingers who predominately shit on anybody and thing vegan-related.

It's not only them who do it, but they are the loudest voice.

That was the only connection my anti-vaxx comment had towards it. I was by no means saying they were equivalent, just that even though there are left-wing anti-vaxxers, it's right-wingers who have let it consume them to a point it's a part of their very being and so we associate the current COVID anti-vaxx movement with right-wingers, even though they are not exclusively the only people with that mentality.

It's a date on the "would you rather" basis, and with left/liberal being conflated, and so I have a sense of what tc means, and so there are associated characteristics more relevant than political stances. In other words, maybe you want to chemically castrate all men, maybe you want to separate races by region; if the date must happen, I'd like to know if I can have dinner without embarrassment/self defense.
