I have read that there is not really any reason to do 10-pulls in this game and in fact is probably more beneficial to just doing singles. True/false?

Those stats are way too low for Pom Pom anyways.

There's no actual difference. The pity rules are based on total pulls, unlike some gacha, so it's not "a guaranteed 4 star every 10-pull", it's "within 10 pulls". If your last 4 star was 9 pulls ago, you are guaranteed a 4 star on the next single pull.....unless it's a 5*, which does actually reset the 4* pity as well.

But yes, 10 pulling is just for convenience. Feel free to spam silver tickets as you get them.

The real convenience is that I hate mashing the skip button for single pulls so I just wait until I have 10 anyways unless I am really close to soft pity (around 70 pulls)

Over 20 Longivus Body Pieces later, I finally get an HP% main stat.

Gotta wonder if maybe the HP Main Stat is drop rate is lower on the HP Set intentionally, but it's more likely just total bad luck. Considering what happened to Roy in my FE5 run, literally no amount of bad luck on this earth is impossible for me.

I always do singles so when a 5* appears I dont go 2-9 pulls over when it wouldve popped up, but Im just weird like that

i do single pulls on the standard banner because why not use the tickets when you have them

and then 10-pulls on limited banners to save time

it's even already bit me, when i got himeko and kafka on the same 10-pull, whereas i might have stopped after himeko to save the guarantee for a later character

but my behavior has not changed

I grabbed the Herta store CE for my new Jingliu since it seems like her best option that isnt LC banner exclusive. Then like everyone else I need to farm the Relics for her and level up her Traces more

I have enough to buy another Herta cone....but I'm super paranoid they'll announce another one I really want. I already got the Nihility and Hunt ones, and the Hunt one is S5.

I'm going to just stock up until the next one comes out, regardless of how long it takes, and then dump it all from there.

Also hot damn those Es turned my Qingque into a bit of a monster and she is missing a lot of ideal stuff for her build. Got Jingliu to lv70 pretty quickly too.

19 fuel saved up for the dot and followup sets.

Won't be close enough since I have like 7 characters I wanna give this stuff to, but at least it's the first cavern in the entire game where I want both pieces equally. Should at least get enough good pieces for Kafka and either Clara or Topaz.

....Of course there's the new Planars as well, but they don't seem to be as high a priority.

Still died to Swarm though unfortunately. They went for MVP first so I had no hope

Honestly feeling less sure about going for Topaz. Though really I want the new 4* and some Luka cons for my Kafka team. Maybe I just go to the 50/50 and then dump the rest of my gems on Silver Wolf or Huohuo.

There's too much of a Fire DPS vacuum for me to even consider not going for Topaz.

We've got no idea when Sam is coming out other than it's in 2.0, and it's a looooong ways away regardless.

Didn't screenshot it because it didn't register in my brain until it was too late, but just got a 6 purple Hunt Materials run and I feel like a fucking God.

True, but with Guinaifen and Kafka (with Asta as support) I feel like I can probably brute force Fire DPS since Kafka lets you double dip on dots. That's pretty much what I do with Sampo and wind, when I can. I also have Himeko for sub-DPS who is...okay. Obviously Topaz would be a huge boon to her though.

Besides, my biggest element gap is ice so if I'm being strategic I should go for Jingliu. Which is tempting! But SW is equally so and would let me not care about weakness.

Still so many grinds to do. Also lost to the deer on floor 2 of Swarm. It had the preferable debuff to the bugs, but I couldnt kill the damn thing with the path I was on. Not gonna lie I feel like Swarm is the first content thats not too great to experience since even the easiest level is a bit too hard, but ah well.

Just finished up the Cocolia fight. Game is great. Im sure Ill hit a wall at sole point, but gonna enjoy it for now.

A normal, sane person: Well I just reached equilibrium 5 and need another AoE damage dealer up to 80. I'm a bit starved for resources so let's just try and get there with my level 70 Serval or Himeko.

Me: y'know I just think Qingque* is neat and I wanna fling some jade tiles at people.

*Currently at level 20

It's actually not that big a deal! 70 to 80 takes more resources than 1 to 70. Level 20 to 70 is effortless once you've reach the equilibrium level.

Is the 5* pity counter on the limited banners separate from the standard banner?

Im about 75 pulls into the current limited banner and I dont want to pull on the standard banner if its going to mess the counter.

Yes they both have their own pity counters.

Nope, they're entirely seperate.

Character Banner
Light Cone Banner
Standard Banner

Each with their own seperate pity (75 Soft/90 Hard for Character and Standard, 65 Soft/80 Hard for LC).

When they start reruns with the next banners, however, both Character Banners and both Light Cone banners will share pitty. So if you pull up to 74 on Topaz, you'll be at 75 pity if you then switch to Seele.

I was under the impression limited banners carried over anyway? So like if I get to 150 pulls on Jingliu and dont get her, I can pick up Seele after 30 pulls on her banner.

It does, yes, but this is the first time we'll have two limited banners of the same type running at the same time.

Ah okay. My goal here is just to pick up a good DPS carry. I should be easily able to get up to the first pity point on Jingliu, but if I lose the 50/50 I may need to go for Seele instead. Not sure I can grind enough jade in the next week to hit 180.

Oh relics why must you constantly be shit main stats. When I actually want DEF % or HP % as a main on one of course it never shows though. I got nothing to run on Jingliu

I had a really nice Ice Damage relic for Jingliu with 3 substats, and they were literally the 3 best ones for her: Speed, Crit Rate, Crit Damage.

Then it went and did this:

Wish I'd known about the double Simulated Universe rewards before I used all of my Immersifiers this week failing to get anything worthwhile...

You've got a full week to work them at least, including next week's batch of 4 coins.

I thiiiink it's the week after next you'll want to start saving your Immersifiers if you want 8 on hand to start farming the new Planars.

Which one do I want to go for with regards to Jingliu planars or whatever?

I think Rutilant Arena is pretty cleanly the strongest as long as you have enough Crit Rate to trigger the secondary ability while Jingliu's talent is active (not hard to achieve at all).

Edit: I think talent is the wrong term...whatever her passive enhanced mode thing is called.

Jingliu wants Arena, end of story. Energy Regen or Attack on the Rope are both fine, preferably attack though. Whichever has better substats. Obviously Ice Damage on the Orb.

Going from level 40 to 50, can see the grind starting to begin. Im sure it gets worse, but at least this game has auto-battle.

Well its a start for my Jingliu at least. Got a Rutilant Arena Ice DMG Sphere. Sub stats arent the greatest, but not awful I guess and will do until I find a better one

Certainly could be better but 15.1% Attack is solid since you don't need a ton of Crit Rate (20% to 50%). Hopefully you can stack more Crit Damage from other pieces.

Working on it. So far I cant get her Relic set to drop and keep getting the Wind one.

Game tricks you into thinking Ice Wind is a good cavern because, hey, 2 elemental set in one cavern!

But only two character want the 2-piece Wind, one of which is switching to 4-piece DoT next patch, and nobody wants the 4-piece period. It does not look like that will change anytime soon if ever.

The last 5* Wind doesn't want any Wind pieces. The next 5* Wind is going to want the 4 Piece DoT also.

Jokes on them I dont even use my Wind units anymore other than Dan sometimes

I use 4-piece Wind on Dan Heng and am pretty sure it's at least comparable to the alternative.

It's totally fine on Dan Heng, but since 1.2 the 2-piece speed has typically come out on top, mainly because the 4-piece effect messes up speed tuning.

That is, however, for Main DPS Dan. If you're running Sub DPS Dan, I'd actually think 4-Piece Wind is probably better.

Yeah I can probably see this.

For me that just isn't something I'm worried about, partially because I'm not sure I would enjoy trying to min/max this game to that level of detail, but also even if I did I don't think I'm at the point where worrying about that makes sense. I've got bigger issues like the fact that I don't even have gold relics with the right main stats on my characters yet >.>

Far more reasonable. Obviously I wouldn't have said no to the completely busted earlier numbers, but we gotta at least pretend to be balanced.

Haven't seen complete confirmation, but people are saying these stacks are clutch for Jing Liu, so I have to imagine it's a stack per followup hit and not per followup attack.

Also, big Hanya nerf, which I can't complain about. It's only a change to her E6, but instead of having infinite free skill uses on her debuffed target, the debuffed target's extra damage taken increase from 15% to 25%.

So, yeah, she's still cracked, but not 5* in 4* clothing cracked. More like Tingyun cracked.
