I think whether or not you have a Clara is a big factor as to whether it's worth getting Topaz yet.

So;

4 piece BIS - Topaz, Himeko, Jing Yuan, Herta

2 pc wit 2 pc Boxing for Clara

If you wanna get wierd and memey, 2 pc on March.

It needs to be strongly noted that the 4 piece here is worthless on Clara.

Since I won't be puling at all for 1.5 other than getting a Hanya....strongly considering E1 Topaz.

She is essentially the Kafka of Followup attacks, and E1 makes that role all the better, compared to Kafka who wants E2 to solidify her role further.

Will just play it by ear with how the pulls go.

Gotta say it's pretty funny seeing these Topaz and Guinaifen guides coming out on YouTube and knowing they can't actually mention leaks without getting in trouble, so they're all like "these are the good relic options for her, and hey mayyyyyybe there will be better options in the future but who knooooows", knowing full well that all these guides will be completely obsolete in less than 3 weeks.

So best to wait for Topaz til the new set for her? I havent given attention to relic leaks for the most part

I would not invest time relic farming for Topaz until 1.5, no. See what you have to move around that already works. If you're wanting Bandit pieces for Imaginary units then anyways though then go nuts in the Fire/Imaginary domain, just don't waste the Relic EXP past level 9 on fire pieces.

I would say you can justify farming for 2 pc Musketeer....but the 2 piece for the new DoT set, Prisoner, is identical to the 2 piece Musketeer, which makes that Musketeer domain practically irrelevant in the future unless you really want healer pieces for some reason (has been replaced by 2 pc speed + 2 piece HP for most Healers).

Oh, as for that DoT set.

2 piece is just Musketeer, you'd use it wherever you could use 2 piece Musketeer. This is why this domain is such high value.

Every Nihility DoT unit wants the 4 piece. Technically, if he's on his own, Luka is only going to get 2 stacks of the desired 3 on the enemy. However...if you're running Luka as a Debuffer unit outside of a DoT team, you've almost certainly given him the Pearls of Sweat LC, which means he's reliable achieving 3 debuffs on the enemy.

If you're running Luka in a non-dot team and don't have Pearls of Sweat, then, uhhhhh.....don't do that??

Definitely. I cant believe I not only got a 5* 4 singles after Jingliu, but won the coin toss too. From standard wishes ascending Topaz I got another one of her LC too. Not the new limited one, but the original one that showed her as a character before she was in the game yet. Destined for Topaz I guess

I finished up the tutorials to get some last minute jades and was able to pull the Jingliu LC like 10 minutes before the banner ended, so that's neat. Now I just gotta get her some half decent relics and we'll be in business.

Silver Wolf will be rerunning alongside Argenti in 1.5.

Adventurine and Ruan Mei are 1.6. We'll probably know the 4* in about a week.

2.0 is after that.

Do we know what Ruan Mei looks like? I dont think I remember seeing their model. Silver Wolf is kinda tempting too since I failed to get her on her debuthmm decisions

Got Topaz and Guin built.

It's not the same level of dopamine because they're all just using thrown together gear since I'm waiting for the new domain.

E5 is obviously just raw number and E6 adds the extra Firekiss stack. Obviously it's good, but in the grand scheme it's not as major as her earlier Eidolons.

It is impossible to keep track of Topaz' damage in high speed mode lol.

Given that I've only lost the 50/50 on Kafka and Jing Yuan, I thought for sure I'd lose the one on Topaz, aka the character I wanted most for the longest period of time.

But nope. 66 pulls. Had a 4* spread of 6 Sushang/1 Luka/1 Guin though, which sucks.

Was getting absolutely fucking destroyed by a superchard Gepard in that new Planar Infinity Event at 8.5k points, having no idea how I was supposed to get to 20k points.

...before realising the challenge is for 20k points TOTAL across all 5 planes.

I have literally not won a single 50/50 since Seele.

This game hates me.

Can already feel Himeko stocks going way up now with Topaz, combined it with Planetary Rendezvous Asta and the fire damage is getting dished. Can also just keep it on her now since I can also use her with Kafka+Guin.

Finally there's enough characters in the game for this busted Lightcone to start seeing some real use.

Id seen on Reddit somebody said Guinaifen stomps Himeko, but I dunno when Ill have Topaz and Guinaifen built since relic waiting. Still want Himeko myself though

Managed to get a second Topaz with 4 single pulls I scrapped together since yesterday.

Obviously with the pity I was at I couldn't pull for Hanya without the guaranteed Argenti which I don't want.

Just pulled Clara from the standard banner so now Im reconsidering Topaz.

50 pulls (from 10 pity from Lynx...I mean Fu Xuan banner, so 60 total) for Topaz which is pretty good. This is literally the first 50/50 I've won since game launch.

In those 50 pulls I got 1 Luka, 1 Guinaifen (in the same pull as Topaz no less), and 3 Sushang who I am absolutely never going to build as a Clara haver. So, could be better but absolutely cannot complain.

pretty sure i did it with

floating bell guy + trotter + lieutenant + cannoneer

It's not too hard with the right team (I think I had the same one as catesdb) but I did get irritated at the final boss of Aetherium Wars just because there's entire strategies which work for every fight except that one.

My problem is poor Trotter gets focused to death first even if I try to shield or heal him every turn. Does it just target the first slot by default? Ill get the win eventually
