It was a minor change, but the nerf they made to the infinity stones awhile ago (I havent played him since) has made Thanos soooooo inconsistent. I never get through all the stones in time to make Thanos himself actually playable.

I could Lockjaw, but then Id have to take out certain tech cards I wouldnt want getting pulled out by him.

How did that variant win??

it was the best one, ghost rider just got a better variant in the season pass, and people already got shang chi variants cause he gets played more

that being said i would have been happy with the shang one as well since i haven't picked up a shang variant so it was win win for me

Human Torch got the super high quality look to it so Im not surprised it won. It might as well have been Peach Momoko or Artgerm vs stuff people dont care about

Didnt grab Pixel Jubilee, but I did grab Nyan Cat Deadpool variant

This was great for a new player, got Human Torch early. Seems like a good card

Not a terrible haul, but still not the spotlight I wanted. At least I got base Nico. Might try for the spotlight still though

I managed to get Nico in a single spotlight cache so that's nice

This is why I never draw unless I have 4 or 8.

Might be able to manage if you use some gold on credits though. It's early in the week.

I just happened to hit the worst luck

Had 2 Caches, got Phoenix Force and Nico. Exactly what I wanted.

Got my total number of unowned cards back down to 10 (not counting Elsa)

Also Hit Monkey is still absurdly broken

One single card does not make a card balanced especially when it's effectively locked behind a paywall.

'uncounterable' in a meta where 2 mana shadow king is everywhere is certainly one way to describe it

One thing to remember is not everyone sees all these meta cards and/or has some of the counters to them. I rarely ever see Shadow King for example

Shadow King is a generally bad card.

A card should not be balanced by a few off picks or paywalled cards. A card should simply be balanced. Hit Monkey simply provides too much value for his cost for something that can easily be dropped late game with no real way to reliably predict or counter it.

Hit Monkey was literally locked behind a paywall, and is currently series 5 while Mobius is series 4

I didnt mention Shadow King since most Hit Monkey decks avoid getting priority. Wave also smacks him but due to Mobius is pretty absent these days

He's decent enough tech but he's not good, way too situational. I run him in C3 and I still rarely find use from him.

if youre still only playing c3 and complaining about hit monkey of all things, its an actual skill issue

Hit Monkey isn't the problem, it's Sera.

Cost reduction and mana cheat is always a problem in card games.

Hit monkey isn't even a problem. That cost bump to 3 made a big difference he's pretty fair now

Nico is so versatile

There are 2 Nico variants in my shop, but I dont really want either of them. Wonder if the datamine has revealed if the Peach Momoko one is real money or not yet

I feel like every Peach Momoko has been real money correct me if I'm wrong

technically no, theyre just all 1200 gold

same mistake i made in a different topic. though next month has 2 or 3 peach momoko bundles i think, with at least the she hulk one costing real money

I threw Nico into my Destroy deck and it has been going pretty decent. Since her ability is random sometimes I dont end up playing her though

ok non whining question -

Why is American Chavez a staple in Shuri Sauron over She-Hulk? I understand that she thins out decks and is a bit more consistent, but I MUCH prefer the extra utility SH gives, and Shuri > Skip > She Hulk can win so many games

How you guys feeling about the Hotel Inferno location? Low cost decks can potentially obliterate 3-4 cards in that single turn its revealed. I destroyed 2 in a game just now with Nico & my own Deadpool who was then killed by Nicos ability which just made it even better for me. No idea why the guy didnt retreat after I snapped.
