Like if a game launched five years ago, had a large player base, but has largely died off and isn't having sales anymore.... there's still going to be people who own the game who install and uninstall whenever they choose to revisit an old game. This company thinks they are going to take this new policy and go hit up the dev (who never agreed to anything like this) and tell them to pay for these installs? It sounds like there's a lot of outrage by smaller devs about this, and I'm not sure if they'll bend or try and fight in a class action or something.... But I think any real company would just laugh the Unity bros out of the call if they tried to push it.
