I've always been rather partial to east coast accents. And I think Minnesota accents are pretty cute. I didn't pick up any Filipino accent from my mom's side of the family. Its almost like midwestern or Canadian with the emphasis on certain syllables but rougher. Just say the word Adirondack but really exaggerated and youve got the gist of it. I got a job down on Long Island and there was a guy there whose accent I instantly picked up on. Turns out he was from Ogdensburg. I think it still comes out in my speech from time to time. Me and my father sound like we're from North Jersey. My mom has the stereotypical "New Yawka" accent. My uncle sounds exactly like Robert DeNiro. I don't even hear it when I speak but if I record myself and play it back it's way more noticeable. Not really related, it happened outside a bar near The Batchilorville Bridge named, Twisted Tea....maybe not a good look for a waterfront bar. My cousin that lived with me until recently wanted to become a YouTuber, so I bought him everything he needed. Computer, camera, capture card, microphone, etc. I got it all set up for him... but he refused to use it. So I started using it just to learn the basics. Then when we'd play a game together I'd record it and upload, hoping he'd gain interest and I could back out. But it was the opposite, he backed out and I was stuck with a bunch of recordings. I found it fun, so I kept going. But I'm not consistent at all. My current Internet is not good enough to upload much of anything.
