If CM Punk goes back to WWE he'll most likely cut a few "I was tired of working with children!" promos and then get buried. Dude's almost 50 and WWE has a solid lineup of non-Roman/Cena wrestlers they can push.

Also, it says they "convened with outside legal counsel" about what happened at All In.

Which suggests outside legal counsel probably told them Jungle Boy could sue, based on Punk's actions, and they... Obviously did not like hearing that.

I think he'll do it for the simple fact that people have been waiting for CM Punk to come back to WWE for over a decade and so the pop he would get on his first night back would be insane. I feel like that would be too big of an opportunity to bring some of the WWE fan base back to pass up.

Not as much as Punk, if dirtsheets are to be believed.

Remember, the report was that Khan literally stood up and chanted "CM PUNK!" upon his debut.

And he also gave Punk a reprieve in his previous incident, when, by all accounts, he was the one that physically started the fight with the Bucks/etc.

He's been doing it since the early 2000's man he isn't gonna change.

Like just following indy wrestling it seems like he meets people and on the surface, he's a good dude right then the more you get to know him the more of a scum bag he is.

His whole thing with Bryan Alvarez is that he reported a source saying that CM Punk is shitty to women backstage in ROH. Which is true, punk talks about how he treated an up-and-coming woman in the wrestling business. CM Punk goes on tirades about Alvarez constantly. He whines about dirtsheets yet feeds his side of the story to Hausman. Why Hausman? Because he said he doesn't like Colt Cabana too.

CM Punk is an awful person deep down from what his actions show.

What exactly happened?

This is all from reports but i'll give you the run down.

A few weeks ago Jungle Boy wanted to do a spot that featured real glass. CM Punk said no to him Jungle Boy claims it was because he's friends with the Bucks/Elite and CM Punk claims it was for safety.

Later a leak comes about making Punk look like the hero about the incident and Jungle Boy thinks that punk's camp leaked it to make him look bad.

Jump ahead to All In and Jungle Boy looks at the camera and talks a little shit in a quick quip. No names are mentioned but its clearly about Punk. Punks match is coming up next and Punk decides to confront jungle boy. This is where the confrontation happens that most reports say that Punk attacked Jungle Boy and then went after Tony Khan while Samoa Joe broke it up.

This. The dude is a locker room cancer where ever he goes, and I say this as a fan of his work, but the guy is just a miserable self righteous dick.

I hope to god that Trips doesn't hire him because he's gonna expect a belt the instant he walks in the door, and I don't want that come at the expense of someone like Rollins, or Gunther (or whoever Gunther finally drops the IC title to, hopefully Gable).

Punk himself has used real glass on multiple occasions. And if dirtsheets are to believed... Which, at this point, they should be, since they appear to have been correct about this whole situation, Punk didn't veto it for safety reasons... He veto'd it because he didn't like who Jack was friends with, and made it a personal issue.

Don't get me wrong, I think using real glass is stupid, but it also depends how you use it, to be fair.

Man, they really did give Punk his own show with a soft roster split because so many in the locker room couldn't stand him, and he still self destructed in, what, less than three months?

Maybe, it seems to be bittersweet for AEW bringing in Punk.

They brought in a lot of new eyes, got a new TV deal, and sold out Wembley with the help of Punk.

but they fractured the locker room, fractured their audience, and had so much bad press
