Even better if Ukraine keeps destroying it while they're in the process of getting it operational, which will force Russia to either keep putting resources into building it while their frontline troops struggle for the supplies/support the railway is intended to alleviate or they'll eventually give up on it and have to deal with the sunk cost.

The Russia strategy at this point is literally just hoping the enemy runs out of bullets before they run out of bodies.

It's kind of funny that Russia thinks the west is so adhd that a conflict in Israel would make them forget Ukraine exists. It's not like the situation in Israel is really anything new either.

Well, it's looking like Jim Jordan will become the next speaker, and he's definitely going to end aide for Ukraine. He already wanted that, however ever since the Hamas attack many Republicans have been saying the aide for Ukraine should be diverted to Israel instead. They're even trying to force themselves to get a new Speaker ASAP mostly for the reason of allocating money for Israel.

They had a "validation vote" or something that showed Jordan would only get like 152 votes.

So today I've been learning that the Trump/Faux News apparatus is now going about bullying and coercing these no votes into being yes. I've already heard 2 Republicans who were adamantly against a Speaker Jordan saying they're open to it now.

Sean Hannity's producer has been personally contacting these Republicans to ask them for their justifications in not supporting Jordan. If Faux News turns against you then you're losing your next election, which for them happens every 2 years.

Trump, Jordan, and Greene are contacting and threatening these no votes with saying that they're going to make them hold the vote publicly so people will know who the no's are and are using that to coerce them into supporting Jordan to prevent terrorist and political threats to them.

Naturally, Jordan does not have the votes and there's enough Republicans disgusted by him to never support him, naturally. These are unnatural times and Jordan is known for being a bully, so he's likely to bully his way into the Speakership since he'll operate however Trump wants him to and use that connection as leverage.

These are the kind of people I've seen flipping.

The name I remember most was Mike Lawler, from one of those Biden-won NY districts, and was saying Gaetz should be expelled for ousting McCarthy and talking about how he's hurting the party. Now he's open to Jordan.

Pro-Ukrainian source relaying that pro-Russian milblogger Rybar saying that Ukrainian marines crossed the Dnipro in Kherson oblast river and captured a village or two along with a lot of land. Rybar has been dooming for weeks about Ukrainians massing thousands of troops in Kherson to cross the river and take the southern half of the oblast.
However, I'd wait for other, more reputable and credible sources to confirm/disprove this new development; Rybar is known to have falsified Ukrainian offensives so that he can then follow it up with a report of it being thwarted by a just as real heroic Russian counterattacks.
