I could be mistaken, since I don't do a lot of vegan baking and the sheer volume of aqueous liquids might be enough to make up for it, but I would expect to at least need to soak the dried fruit beforehand to avoid giving up too much moisture, and a quarter cup of oil doesn't seem like it'll be enough to carry it. --- This is my signature. Do it in a sufficiently ventilated area and add a suitable quantity of HCl to that once the bubbling stopped, and you could actually drink the resultant mixture, though it'd be pretty salty.
