they will probably need to bring in engineers to level out parts of the anti-tank ditch so they can cross it in force. If that ditch is compromised that's already a significant breach in the main Russian defense line.

In fact this may have already happened, this is all information from a few days ago and I seem to remember seeing pictures of Ukrainian forces in an area with dragons teeth moved aside.

Belarus really is Italy to Putin's Nazi Germany. Every time they try to do anything it's a giant fuck up that Russia will ultimately have to deal with because otherwise it'll make their own fight that much harder.

It was a fair military target and they did it at night to send a message because they don't actually want to kill civilians:

i don't really agree with attacking targets in moscow because there is nothing they can attack that will actually change the balance of the war. i think it's cool if they fund russian groups to try and take russian towns or w/e but attacking empty buildings in moscow seems like a waste of resources to me.

obv ukraine is the victim here and they may have a strategy i just don't understand, but i am hoping they start using some of their fancy new toys to drive the orcs out of more and more ukrainian territory

They're doing a more humane version of what Russia is doing to them with Shaheds. Forcing Russia to commit valuable air defense assets far from the front lines using cheap drones.

And it's showing them the air defense systems are useless. The air defense systems that they clearly put up to bluff security

ah this makes sense. if they are trying to foment discontent with the russian population that would be brilliant if it ends up working. i know many russians are pissed about how the war is going from the ultra nationalists to the people that just don't want to be involved in a war. russians are losing economically more and more as it drags on and they have already lost many western brands that they like. if this kinda strategy allows the ukrainians to put pressure on the putin regime while not using up valuable resources i can see how it would be brilliant if it moves the needle even a little. hopefully they continue avoiding any attacks on russian civilians at least

Russia starts their naval exercise in the Baltic Sea today, called Ocean Shield 2023.
It involves 30 bigger ships, 20 support vessels, 30 airplanes and 6000 marines.

Putin will travel to Turkey in the near future to talk about a new grain agreement. Unlike some African countries, Turkey is not forced to arrest him when he leaves his airplane.

Let's hope it's an actual exercise and not a "Sike! We're taking Gotland!" operation.

Like so they could get as close to their target and unleash a lethal payload?

I'm no expert, but wouldn't that interfere with the pilots ability to command the drones?

Communication between what?
All communication happen on different frequencies, and to prevent jamming all military communication units should jump between frequencies. Jamming everything requires more hardware and more power, making it heavier. And that wont stop a radar from seeing a drone or a missile being fired at it.
Stealth drones... too costly.
Frying the missiles onboard electricity? You need an EMP, if the missile is not shielded. Which needs a costly shielded drone...
This is overengineering, it would be like building an extremely costly drone that takes longer to build just to shoot the rifle out of somebodys hand before killing him instead of sending 1-3 much cheaper and quicker to build drones that aims at his head.

Technically you can leave out the frequencies that you use... which could be reverse engineered with some bad luck if they get their hands on a drone.
Having a predetermined way programmed in the drone would also help.

It's a message to the Kremlin that Kyiv can strike them at their capital any time they want, they just choose not to. If they really wanted to hurt civilians, they'd be emulating Russia's strikes, but they're clearly just sending a message that those fuckers in Moscow sending others to die can be got themselves.

For the civilians, it brings the smallest glimpse of the reality that Ukraine has been suffering with for over a year now. It's easy for the civilian populace to support or turn a blind eye to the actions of their invasion when there's no sense of threat to them.
