Nope. Her slap wasn't anywhere near strong enough to inflict any kind of bodily harm. The response was completely disproportional. A five year old could have slapped harder than that. Would you send them to the floor too?

So this girl, that's presumably of the same age and possesses the same or similar cognitive ability as the boy since they're in the same classroom, is more akin to being like a 5 year old to you? It's kind of crazy how the best defense anyone can muster for this girl is to infantilize her or reduce the agency of her actions as much as possible. Pretty sure the best way to avoid having people slap you to the floor in retaliation is to not slap people in the first place, rather than whine about the disproportionate response after the fact.

And what does the girl win putting herself in danger hitting someone she doesn't know if will fuck her up far worse than a slap that knocked on the floor and did no lasting damage? The girl didn't receive a sustainable injury either, she was knocked on the floor that it's. Woman are not all damsels who cant throw a harmful swing or shatter like glass if hit.
