Looks like the boy was winding up for the slap asking for a confrontation. Girl came over and lightly tapped him seemingly as a joke which caused the boys to fight.

The guy coming to the girls aid didnt have a fair chance before the other guys tried to focus on holding him back instead of the guy who hit the girl giving him free licks.

This is an old video, not something that has just gone viral. To my knowledge, the two already had beef beforehand and she was antagonizing him. That's why he had his hand up like that. He had already anticipated that she was going to hit him but essentially dared her to hit him. She (stupidly?) just went up to hit him anyway and then he hit her.

She was confident that she could just hit him and walk away without consequences. That's why she wasn't afraid to hit him. She did not expect him to hit back. When she hit him and turned to walk away quickly, the force of being hit back and the shock of being hit causes her to fall.

I believe this was at a highschool. Shocking, considering how the kids look, I know.

In the end, she was the aggressor and he essentially let everyone know in advance that he was going to hit her if she hit him.

EDIT: Oh I forgot to add that all kids involved in the fight were suspended

Justified....

For slapping her back? Yes.
For punching out the simp that jumped in after? Yes.
For rushing back in to get a round 2 beat down on the simp after the teacher had already broken up the fight? No.

Last part was totally unnecessary. Like, if the simp had gotten the better of him in round 1, even then I'd understand wanting payback. But that dude beat the snot out of him already, there wasn't really revenge left to be had, and the fight was over.
