I'm currently a 12th grade English teacher, but I'm considering a career change. This year has been some bullshit.

It has the odd moment that Im less keen on, but on a day to day basis I like it. Plus the pay and perks are great.

Nope. I'm an insurance auditor. I get told, surprisingly often, that I am ruining people's lives because my reports caused their premiums to go up. I've had agents threaten me for doing my job. I had a man yell at me for five minutes yesterday. I work from home and don't have a car, so this is the bulk of my human interaction on a daily basis.

It is soul destroying, but most jobs are so I can't complain too much.

Yeah, I do. It's my first year as a teacher assistant but after only doing food service/retail, it's pretty nice actually.

I am a middle school social studies teacher, and while there are problems, I fucking love my job.
It also gives me the chance to coach kids that I teach and I love that more than teaching.
I really can't imagine doing anything else.

Nah, I actually dislike it more than the retail jobs I've had. Not learning anything and the jobs disorganized. I need it until my government job goes thro

No, I've decided I'm going to get a cdl and drive truck for a while. My current job sucks. I much preferred being a delivery driver. It wasn't stressful and tips made it somewhat decent pay. I could literally spend much of the day listening to podcasts or music. To be honest, it's hard to like anything after that.

I am a school psychologist at a high school, which has been my dream job for some time. There are parts of it that I hate (dealing with Karens, writing psychoed reports) but overall I love my job. It's fun, mentally stimulating, and I feel fulfilled by the work that I do.

It's okay. I like my co-workers and the pay is good; dealing with clients can be tough sometimes.

I started a new job a week and change ago, really liking it so far. My manager is chill, Im liking my peers, my direct reports seem good, I get to spend time outside on site each week, lots of walking. Im trying not to get my expectations too high but this may be the best job Ive ever had. Learning a ton, too.

Yeah, I love it. A stable state job with great benefits, and I'm free to do whatever I want for like 5-6 hours a day. It's by far the best job I've ever had :D
