I looked it up out of curiosity and Goofy had a red-headed son simply called Goofy Jr back in the fifties but he only appeared for one or two shorts. It's most likely the case that Max is a redesign of that kid rather than Goofy getting his hyucks on behind the scenes with more characters.

That makes sense, that kid definitely looks like a 50s kid, and Max is just very obviously 90s designed.

I must have had a weird childhood because The Disney Channel wasn't relevant at all. Like absolutely nobody I went to school with acknowledged its existence and everybody either watched Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network or Fox Kids/Kids WB.

Disney Channel was a pay-channel up until the mid 90s. They only descrambled for a week a year in an attempt to entice kids to needle their parents into subscribing. It also only had the Disney name going for it. All it did was show reruns of decades old Disney TV specials, some shorts, and a handful of original programming targeted toward toddlers. They were very stingy with airing Disney animated features.

I think the only Disney Channel show i watched as a kid was The Mickey Mouse Club. I was born way too early for all thecfamous later shows they had. But I did watch alot of nickelodeon.

I remember shows like Goof Troop, Darwin Duck, The Mighty Ducks, The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehod and a few other toons from there.

I remember my aunt and uncle had this next work because that had on those big ass satellite dishes. It was Disney East and Disney West. It was crazy, at least for kid me.
