"Most disappointing" would be better. All of these (that I know, at least) have a base quality level that puts them above all the games I've played with REALLY bad stories. Any of you ever played the shareware Hugo's House of Horrors series? That's one that popped into my head as having a much worse story than any of them. You're saving your girlfriend, there's a mad scientist, you go from random setpiece to random setpiece and nothing makes sense.
