I'd swap them out them gun shops for adult toy shops. I went in one the other day and the selection was ass. And I don't mean that they had an ass toy.

Its not as easy as the talking heads would have you believe.

Actually how much is a gun anyway? Like if you wanted a basic ass gun and basic ass ammunition for it. Less expensive than a katana? I'd rather have a katana for home defense.

Guns aren't the problem, it's the culture behind the gun push that's the problem. "God, guns and country" rhetoric that's passed down from one generation to the next, and without genuine respect for any of the three. Just recycled phrases repeated to pretend to have principles.

If you did read statistics you'd know that less than half the population owns those guns, and that almost 2/3 of all gun deaths are suicides. We can talk about cosmetic attachments and gun actions until you're blue in the face but nothing changes the fact that the majority of these deaths are self inflicted. Perhaps incentivizing gun safety and training, and passing safe storage and red flag laws might do more than a blanket "get rid of all scary guns" tactic that is all the rage in politics.

I don't know if proud is the right word.

The US also has the 29th highest depression rate in the world, and 16.1 suicides per 100k. But hey, lets clutch our pearls over guns.

If you can't do better than scratch the surface of gun culture, you should stay out of the discussion. Culture and ideologies play the biggest part. I'm sorry if you're in over your head, but you should take your own advice rather than direct your misguided anger issues at me.

Guns are A RESULT of the problem. I never said it was impossible to do more than scratch the surface.. You made that up. You PERSONALLY are struggling to do better than scratch the surface and continue to avoid speaking on the cultural aspect that I keep mentioning.
