My Xbox 360 Jasper lasted me YEARS and that was gaming on it every day for hours on end. It didn't get RRoD until after I got my Xbox One S.

I have been on my One S for 4 1/2 years.

I would love to get The Series X but a little thing called no money prevents me.

I technically had two original Xboxes because the first original one immediately started smoking when I first turned it on so I was able to return it for a replacement but that barely counts

My ex bought me an XBONE S for Christmas one year. We were broken up at the time too, it was odd.

Anyway, I still use it. It's the streaming device in my living room after the apps on my Samsung TV quit working due to some internal clock error.

Damn this topic made me realize some things. Big one being that holy shit I have actually owned every generation of Xbox (OG, 360, One, Series S, now Series X) at one point. And also that I went from Nintendo (owned an NES, SNES, N64, GCN, Wii) to Microsoft for gaming after the Wii happened.

Original, 360 and Xbone. Every one of them broke in some way or another, which is an experience i havent had with many other consoles lol

One Xbox One X (my ex bought this for me as a gift when I explicitly told her that I wanted to get it for myself when I accomplished a specific goal. It caused a huge fight between us because she absolutely could not afford it and continually lorded it over my head. It has sat in its box, largely unplayed, for years).

I have zero interest in getting the newest Xbox. I would like to get my hands on an OG Xbox someday.

I have to update my post to include another Series S. I bought one last night from Verizon, they have them on sale for $150. My nephews come over every weekend and play on my old One X, figured I would get them a nice little upgrade.
