For Shove knights, yeah. But Dire Ring apparently works well at least as far as chapter 19 Maddening based on what someone I know from the 3H board said.

No I mean that any recommendation that involves getting a specific ring from a gatcha system, is functionally not a repeformable strategy. Like Dire Thunder is objectively amazing. It'd make any Mage great, especially magic nukes like Citrinne, but to get that ring involves, a either a lot of luck, and unreasonable amount of bond fragments or a lot of save scumming.

Whoops. I just killed a recruitable character in Chapter 18, finished the chapter, saved my game, and didn't even realize he was recruitable until after the fact. Total brainfart on my part. Oh well, I wasn't going to use him in this playthrough anyways because I already had Citrinne.

God this sucks so hard. Theres a few little things I hope they fix via a patch like gaining supports easier and idk, the ability to actually grind underleveled units in skirmishes would be chill.

Oh also, is there paired endings or just whoever Alear S-supports?

I don't mind games not having an ng+ mode, but the way the game is setup kind of screams for it.

I think I used skirmishes to mainly keep units from getting under leveled. Haha That said, I do wish it was easier for you units to gain support with other units (other than Alear) Ive just been keeping a list of couples I need to get supports for on a list A new game+ would have made things easier But I guess thats not going to work, so

Yeah same with me, I only do skirmishes when I want to stay leveled or try out new recruits. But Ive seen tons of people complain about not being able to grind with their underleveled units so I feel like that should be fixed in the future

Nah it's like the Tellius games where early joining people need to be used for like 2/3rds of all the levels they're available in to A rank with one another but late joining ones only have 3 levels before the finale so they'll A rank with whoever in that time lol.

I did one skirmish just to experience it, but I don't want to break the campaign level curve.

I feel like they balanced the games economy around the idea that people would do skirmishes but they didn't (thankfully) balance the enemy scaling around it. So doing skirmishes let's you get the gold and stuff to forge and donate, but ends up with you steam rolling the chapters.

My Merrin just had two perfect level ups in a row. And I mean build and everything. I've been playing FE for nearly 20 years and I've never seen that before.

I got to the major rush of new units in chapters 11-13 and I'm in a team crisis now. A lot of my original units are starting to fall off a bit (namely Clanne, post-Celica ring when his mediocre magic stat is becoming more noticeable), and I have reasonable replacements now...but I also love sticking with my earlygame units and seeing them through to the end.

This is always my problem in FE games. So many units Most people make good teams early. And especially good teams that work well with each other. Changing can sometimes mess up the team dynamic. At the same time, the new units are usually stronger, and have advanced classes, IIRC I believe its because the game not only wants you to use new units, but makes it so if someone wants to switch, they can easily do so Probably New units are fun, but I usually like my first units. Not to mention the time and resources you may have put into your favorites

There are too many royals. My Etie was turning out great, but why continue using her when Alcryst is right there. :\ My Alfred has been falling off lately so I was able to replace him with Chloe at least.
