That's just it, though. We went from the 24-hour news cycle to the by the minute news cycle. Twitter remains the fastest way to disseminate news, so until something rises up to replace it, it's going to be that pillar. It needs to be immutable and unassailable for it to be a viable platform.

You can rationalize claiming to hate what Musk has done to Twitter all you want.

The bottom line is, if you are among the group of people who retweet, direct people to tweets, or direct people at all to Twitter... then you either consciousness or subconsciously support Musk and what he's doing with Twitter. You don't dislike what Musk is doing as much as you claim with Twitter.

When this is ever pointed out, income the "reasons" defending the continued advertising and use of Twitter.

So lol to talking about a "hill to die on" or asking one would "camp there." We are seeing the hill plenty are willing to die on with the continued advertising of Twitter with the excuses for the continued use.

People hate on Twitter for a lot of valid reasons, but especially for big events like disasters, there simply isn't a better way to get information out quickly.

just think how we would have gotten information about the Russian invasion of Ukraine if Musk had pulled all this shit last year and had already sunk Twitter by the time of the invasion.
