Long story short, if you play online, moves of 90% accuracy or lower will always miss on the first turn and any attack of any accuracy, including OHKO moves will always hit on the second, no matter what

Every battle is like that until (or if) they fix it

That's actually 100% online ruining and makes it borderline unplayable lol

i can kind of understand all the physics/animation glitches, because those are probably hard to fix and not super trivial to avoid in the first place

but this? couldn't this have been avoided with like 2 minutes of thinking and 2 lines of code? i'm sure they will patch this but how/why did it come to this in the first place? >___>

How do you manage to fuck up something that's been fine for years this badly.
At this point it's actually surprising that set mode works correctly for online.

It's astounding that nobody involved in the process of making these games has any pride in their work. There's so much wrong with them that cannot simply be attributed just to lack of development time. You could still have a relatively cheap game that at least runs well.
