The south is always at war with progressive celebrities and anyone who doesn't support their worldview. Chapelle is so funny that he has transcended that until his return. His jokes against trump voters and poor white people weren't even that mean.

Is that why white southerners call him the n-word and a liberal? I don't have a problem with him and I don't hate democrats. I just can't get their hate for them. Some of th frats at Ole Miss and U of L Monroe pee on pictures of him (and other pics). You can disagree with progressives but not be racist IMO.

More from from the conservative aspect than the South imo. Not everyone South of the Ohio river is waiving Confederate (loser) flags around, but it's still America, so racism.

My favorite is he left The Chappelle Show saying he saw kids and white people imitating his jokes, including the racial slurs. Citing he stepped back to really reflect about the effects his jokes have on the black community. Only for him to return with even more harmful rhetoric and material targeted at a smaller marginalized group.

It's either zero awareness, or completely hypocritical right?

Because since the inception of America, Northerners have hated Southerners. It's one reason why it might've made more sense if the US was truly broken into two separate countries... and it would certainly limit the US's impact on the world.
