Yeah, rerolling kinda sucks in this. Sad that the new Sword Art Online: Variant Shutdown reroll is incredibly good considering the game runs like ass and will only last 6 months.

TBH Im not too pleased with the gameplay in Neural Cloud and wondering if its worth rerolling. Theres an idle game I saw in a WotV ad that promises good rewards from gift codes, but it seems suspiciously TOO good. 10 guaranteed SSRs, 100K diamonds (either diamonds are their non-premium currency or summons cost 10K or something lol), 200 free pulls, and VIP 13. Ill take a look, but am going in with low expectations of it being true.

I think I could manage Chapter 2 with just starting Dolls in PNC.

I rerolled once just for Hubble and got her on the 2nd account. I think the gameplay is pretty good? I think for an auto-chess gameplay, it has way more player interaction and reactions than the average auto-chess that tends to be just slap ppl down and pray. Also the small roguelike stuff is a bit difficult to consume first time around til you kinda learn what you want to aim for. Prior to that, I recommend just going for all the stuff that gives the best damage multiplier buff on the bottom of the buff.

I think these types of games always run into the problem of the non-sense story structures. Like they omit a bunch of the beginning but don't do anything to make up for it. Arknights, GFL to smaller extent, Path no Nowhere, all these are bizarrely similarly poorly structured stories that are really hard to get into. Shitload of lingos that are inserted unnaturally, Arknights especially being grating with the sheer amount of characters that you can't tell one from the other without a name and art. This story dips into all the same problems, but I guess at least the scenarios aren't so weirdly complicated that it makes 0 sense without somebody explaining a bunch of GFL lore or some shit. I also dunno why it takes so long to figure out who the f Persicaria is, cuz I definitely remember Persica. It's also not clear at all like is this within some VR world or a weird mix of both, or some alt. reality. I'm sure there's some side text that explains them but as a person who's actually attempted to read through all of it on the first hour of wanting to rather just play the fucking game, I couldn't find a direct answer to any of my questions.

But I do think some people are gonna see that it's overly complicated and just like it, like how it happened with Arknights even though I really tried hard to read through everything and thought it was a horrendously put together story.

There is glossary in the top-left corner of the screen (third icon from the left).
Gets easier if you play GFL before, though. Few terms are the same, after all.

Persica herself said 'you will meet my look-alike there' in the intro (and your mission in that world, which...is also said in the intro).

Yeah the glossary is what I meant in terms of having to read a shitload just to get the whole story. There are so many, and it's so difficult to remember wtf is what when they toss so many terms around.

And I finally found where to look to see who Persicaria really is. If you get her affection to lvl 2, you can see a basic history, which was that Persica made a purely sentient robot on a whim, and she was capable and sentient enough to become her main assistant. Also she's less crazy and much more personable than Persica, so people preferred it that way.

It's basically the usual way to cop out of making a crazy genius have a daughter.

I have accepted my shit gacha rolls as normal at this rate.
Last night I finally used my free pulls (and 10 more) for a total of 40 and got a single 3*.

Unfortunately, it had to be Evelyn. And you already have Croque which share the same role as her for free.
Any other 3* from other class would've been more of a help early on.

In the end my team hasn't changed one bit.

I will not accept anyone but Hubble. Im not a big fan of the playable dolls right now besides Persica, and shes one of the few that I even moderately like :<

Kinda regret using my pulls on Hubble's banner. Should've been Aki on the off-chance I can get the 180 guarantee.

Oh, well.

The "final battle" story event in PriConne just started. Players who are at/near the max level of 151 should focus on the Defense boss first (since that's the toughest one for lower level players to inflict good damage on) to make things go faster, while other players should focus on the other bosses.

Also, remember that you can use up to 3 support characters on your team. Lower level players can borrow higher level supports to help them, and higher level players who don't have 5 fully built characters ready for a certain boss can borrow them from others to fill out their teams.

At least with this new event, I have enough characters to get 100% drop rate, so is something I guess. Can't say I like much of Laplace's personality from what we've seen in the event so far though.

Laplace appears in the main story at around Ch 11? I forget which ch I'm on but it's that one. She seems kinda interesting, like she's in Missilis, which is basically the worst group of the 3 company factions. But I think she wants to be a hero despite none of the things she's tasked to be is heroic in any way lmao

As a character though, I heard she's pretty hard to maximize, cuz she is one of those like only strong at burst type char. But because Iron types have Rupee, they all have an inherent strength in the long term imo.

Also EDIT: did I just fucking max LB Centi? I mean I love Centi so hurray but she's the only one that's beyond 1 LB for SSRs for me.

Also even though I like Neural Cloud and appreciate a lot of its production... there's just something very cumbersome about it. In fact GFL kinda shared quite a bit of that sluggish gameplay. I have a lot of rosy memories of it, but in reality, it's pretty grueling to play, and it also chugged on my phone, making autoing slower.

This game doesn't require as much farming, tbf, but man the stages take fucking forever to beat, and they're a bit too easy atm that it just kinda feels like hours of nothing much being done.

Also Im going to drop Neural Cloud. I tried sticking with my last account after 14 rerolls, but didnt find the gameplay satisfying. Also even after the rerolls + extra rolls I didnt get Hubble. Heck, I got very, very few 3 stars in general. I have PriConne luck with NC and Ive accepted that.

But on the plus side the Kpop chick Winter in Epic Seven is actually really fun, and I got the characters I wanted in WotV, so Ill be focusing on those games.

By the way, some of the unit affection stories in Nikke does indeed have the commander and the Nikke have sex. I recently found it in Yulha's story. 4th and 5th stories have pretty unquestionably implied sex without outright saying the word. The supposed sex in the 1st story is a bit of a bait, but it leads to the actual thing.

So far though the commander has outright kissed the Nikke in every single affection 10 I've seen, except Rapi's T-T. Can't imagine they'd go too far with any of the... loli looking ones though... Hopefully

I hope not. For the few I've seen (of the children ones) at the start, the relationship implied isn't a sexual one at all, and often more of a big brother/fatherly approach so be even weirder if they go the romantic route.

Yuni's bond 10 isn't particularly explicit. You reach a point where the commander and Yuni are able to understand each other's thoughts through her whip cracks, and a three-way with Mihara is implied but not any spicier than the whips you've been getting throughout her bond stories. I'm working on Mihara next to see if it's more explicit from the other end. As for other lolis, Noah is close to bond 10 as well.

Now, the texts you get from Yuni and from Wardress? Oh yeah, Yuni and Mihara are definitely fucking every chance they get. One chat has Yuni talking about the toys she uses and which ones she should get for you. Another chat has them stuck in the elevator for an hour and decide that they should take the opportunity for some private time, while adding to "please knock" before opening the elevator.

Yeah they clearly had something with each other. Uhh... so Yuni is supposedly revisited in Ch 13, where she discovers something about Rapi. Wew boy... I'm still at Ch 12 but I want to see it.

Honestly though, overall consistency, narrative, and lore wise, Nikke might actually be like minimum top 3 amongst the gachas that I've played and actually read. The porny stuff helps I guess lmao, but they're like almost a brief respite because of how crazy or depressing the story can get

Everything as expected. Important things are NY!Karyl gala, which overlaps with the end of the daily free 10 pulls, and Yukari's 6 star upgrade. NY!Hiyori and NY!Yui UEs are pretty good as well, if you have them.

God damn Ive been rerolling for days in Panilla Saga trying to get this one character. Its been 32 rerolls with most of them being about 35 pulls until I realized recently that I can get 50 by spending just an extra minute. I havent even seen a single light or dark SSR yet though, which scares me. I checked the rates though, and shes on there, so

I didn't pull for NY Yui when she first came out last year, but I've seen her in so many Tower Of Luna team lists so she's probably really useful as a healer. Is it worth pulling for NY Yui now if I have enough gems to ensure getting both her and NY Karyl? Is there another newer/better healer coming up in the next few months? Or is 6* Kokkoro (and Misato for my mage teams) good enough that I don't actually need her?

NY!Yui gets an MDef shred from her UE, as well as TP Boost, making her a decent choice for a support in CB. However, strictly as a healer she'll be outclassed by 6!Yui in February. She's still a fairly good pickup for mage support, has a strong niche, and will still probably see decent use for a while, but she's considerably less of a "must-pull" at this point than she was a year ago.

I'd pull based on what else you want to pull in the near future. Notably for you, Princess Peco is due around late January I think (she was the second anniversary Gala unit). I'm pretty sure my normal Yui is already completely bricked for CB use because her rank is higher than the ranks mentioned in the gear guide. Mine is at 12-4 and the guide recommends 11-6 or 12-2. Is she still fine to use at max rank (or some specific rank between 12-4 and the max) for other stuff like main story missions, dungeons, or the Tower of Luna? Or is she already beyond salvage and I should get NY Yui instead?

I was going to pull for her whether she was good or not because Peco is best girl. I have so many gems saved up that I could pull for NY Karyl, NY Yui, Princess Peco, and still have plenty left over.

So... for Nikke, somehow I max LB'd Laplace, and in that same pull for her last copy, I also pulled Harran. I think that genuinely makes up for my 88 trash pull streak. The only unit better than Harran is probably Scarlet, and that's debated amongst various communities

But then

I realized uhh... cuz of the charge bug and various other factors, currently China actually considers Laplace to be the best boss killer and mob clearer in the game. Her explosion range buff also applies to her laser, which means that she's actually doing double-quadruple damage to most bosses with multiple parts, and also she's piercing, which means you're not missing DPS by accidentally hitting a projectile instead.

That makes her even better than Scarlet or Harran at boss killing. A lot of people wrote her off on paper, and then people started posting numerous screenshots of Laplace literally doubling Harran/Scarlet damage and then some. Crazy enough, same happened to me. I tried putting Harran and Laplace in the same slot, and Laplace doubles Harran's damage on the driller boss and in regular stages.

This makes me feel conflicted, as it's really difficult to replace my Burst I-IIs, and my other Burst III nowadays is basically permanently Privaty, the best supportive Burst III in the game. I'd have to take out a Burst I like Milk, who provides attack buff and heals, and she has my 2nd highest power, so probably not happening, and since her cd is 40s, I have to run a 2nd Burst I. That means Laplace and Harran and fighting for the spot, and Laplace is just better

Only if I pulled Harran literally like a day b4 Laplace banner, and I wouldn't even be thinking about pulling Laplace

Worst case scenario, you end up not being able to use a specific strat because your Yui didn't get TP in time to heal before a boss UB in a high AOE damage situation. For most quest, Luna Tower, and CB stuff, you're likely fine to stay at 12-4.

For casual play in general, bricking is mostly an overblown issue. It specifically refers to a character becoming unusable for max damage timelines, but gets overused because a bunch of the vocal posters on places like Reddit are meta-chasers, and guides tend to be written by people who focus on meta.

As for pulling plans, I mentioned Princess Peco because I assumed you would want to pull for her, but didn't know if you had enough saved for three sparks over 2 months (though P!Peco should get free daily 10 pulls, as per usual for Anniversary).

Edit: To explain a bit further, bricking in 6!Yui's case specifically means her usability in looping comps goes down. I don't think you even have X!Chika (at least you've never mentioned her), and most heavy looping comps even without X!Chika require manual play. I think 12-4 is close enough that it won't significantly matter in general play.

All right, thanks for the info. I don't have that Chika (and I don't feel like using complicated manual strategies for CB anyways) so I guess the brick isn't that big of a deal. I'll level her up, wait for her 6 star, and pass on NY Yui.

Have you ever tried multiple instance rerolling on emulator? It took a bit for me to figure out but once I learned it, it was a gamechanger.
