Nah, it's fine. I still think we win the division because everyone else can't get out of their own way, but I hate playing bad Texans teams because it feels like we always play down to them.

Cant see anyone other than the Titans winning the South. The Jags could be a nuisance next year, though. We need secondary help, a downfield threat and better QB play. Oh yeah and I still like Doug Pederson but its criminal that ETN has finished with an insane YPC and barely double digit touches for multiple weeks now.

If the Titans drop that game though, decent chance they're only .5 up on Indy despite sweeping them. I'd certainly favor them, but it's no lock.

Also they have yet to play the Jags, who might actually be the best team in the division if they could get out of their own way. The Colts and Jags have already split.

And that's why I said the Broncos are effectively out, but I didn't about the Jaguars. The Jaguars are absolutely still alive in that division if they can actually get themselves together. There's just little reason to believe they can.

But if the question is: Would I really shocked if Titans @ Jaguars was important for the division in some way? I wouldn't. I could see the Colts entering that week within half a game. It's not out of the question that the Jaguars could win the game in Tennessee and make that week 18 game meaningful for themselves as well.

Oh, if the Jags can put it together, they can absolutely win the division. They've got the talent, but they're still recovering from the Urban year and you can see that in the way Lawrence loses games.

IF (big if) the Jags get a top 5-10 draft pick and use it wisely, please god let us do something with the talent we have on rookie deals next year

Apparently the order for Ryan's benching is coming from Irsay himself so sounds to me like he's not too pleased with Reich at the moment.

Todd Gurley announced his retirement. He was just never the same after that injury during their Super Bowl run.

Well he had arthritis, as soon as that came out kind of felt inevitable.

Matty Ice will be left out in the cold. His career is over, and the Colts wasted a third rounder on him. But let's not forget, a single third-rounder is NOTHING compared to the four first/second round picks the Broncos gave up for Russell Wilson (not to mention three players), and look at how well that worked out for them. The Broncos have fewer wins (2) than the Colts (3.5) and the Seahawks (4). Whoops!

Also, as a Packer fan, I'm mad that we didn't trade Rodgers for the same boatload from Denver. That would have been substantial for us and we'd probably have a similar record to what we have now. Rodgers isn't worth anything anymore.

Rams were close already.

Broncos gave up a massive haul to be a fringe playoff team at best to the majority of people. It already looks like it could join the pantheon of "worst trades in NFL history".

And the NFL decided to bank on them sp hard that they got 4 primetime games in 6 weeks and a London game in week 8, fully showcasing the incompetence again and again in games that are consistently ugly to watch.

While I do think they eventually trail off and miss, It's perfectly conceivable Seattle makes the playoffs AND has a top 5 pick in the draft.

To be fair they at least are mostly in those games because of their defense which actually looks really legit. Its mainly just QB and offensive playcalling.

Well, they're not in these games because of the trade, and that's the problem.

Yeah Broncos would be better off with Rypien/Drew Lock/some other backup who was a free agent, Noah Fant, Shelby Harris, and a 1st and 2nd round pick (presumably at least one being OL).
