Phil is hinting at his fans that when voting for a game from his christmas marathon for the upcoming viewer's choice event, an event that he requires +100 extra members to actually do, and which as far as I understand it doesn't actually need to be a game from his christmas marathon, they should pick Far Cry instead of Oblivion because he owns the DLC for Far Cry and wouldn't have to spend money on it.

Khet really wanted an Xbox Series S for christmas, so destitute Dave did the most logical thing and went out to buy one, making sure to confirm it was 100% for sure definitely cheap and bought over a month ago on Black Friday. Nearly says "thanks to you" before correcting himself and says "thanks to a good month on youtube", can't let those fans get a bit of gratitude.

DSP is on a huge rant about how cross-play on fighting games are bad and PC elitism because "how can people I play against literally read me and counter my moves instantly? Obviously because PC players have an unfair advantage due to lower lag"

He just said he only has one day off a year on Christmas because on all his "days off" he is out running errands.

Early copies should not be a thing. Everyone, gamer and reviewer should "play together" on release date.

Which would of course benefit him and only him. Not his audience. Same reason he gets mad at spoilers circulating. As if people being able to read the story of a game before they buy it is a bad thing. It's only bad because, at least in his mind, it hurts his bottom line.

Yeah, that's the reason why this dude's the only one who has these problems but other streamers who don't get free shit early like Vinny and RTgames are still able to pull in decent numbers off games that have been out for literal years like RT's P5R playthrough or Vinny's Mario Kart streams. Oh, and quick reminder for anyone that's genuinely wondering, the reason Dave hates Max so much (as he's really been acting like Max pissed in his cereal recently) isn't so much because he's a streamer who mainly plays fightan games that makes a lot of money, but because Max is essentially everything Dave insists he is, yet actually isn't: a successful adaptable streamer who's knowledgeable about fighting games and has some positive rep in the FGC, with a decent amount of variety in his streams even if he is known primarily as "the fighting game dood", has a wife who genuinely loves him, has an actual child, had a pet who loved him (RIP Benny), and has irl friends that he can chill with. Keep this in mind any time that he makes passive aggressive swipes towards the guy, that it's more than "oh this streamer is making more dosh than me" jealousy that can also be applicable for people like Cr1tikal/Charlie, Pat, Vinny, or *insert Vtuber of your choice here*.
