why is Arizona a litmus test for Philly, that's not a good team and I don't think there's much reason to still question if the Eagles are good

Oh I'm still picking them at the Cardinals, but it's a cross-country road game against the closest thing to a playoff contender they'll have played so far. If that spread hits 7, I'm not taking them to cover.

Dallas should be mostly reloaded and ready to go for week 6, a game in which I still lean them to win in a fairly low scoring game, say 20-17. The Dallas defense is better than anything the Eagles have seen. Though Dallas is getting their own test at the Rams as a 5 point dog, which I think is too much.

Panthers don't look like a team with even a modicum of competence. Their QB carousel isn't helping things. Players aren't being developed so their flaws are all noticeable. Just pure incorrigible incompetence all around. But you fire Rhule and you get McAdoo which is a side grade as best.

Washington has some hope with more competent defense and Taylor Henickie eventually taking over as starter. Wentz, like Mayfield, is no longer who they were during the one good season they had. Indy has less hope but Ratt Myan could always revive as Matty Ice for a few games then collapse again. Also, run the ball.

To be fair, it was a 4th and 1 with one of the best RBs in the game...but yeah, a bit early and a bit too deep in our own territory to stomach.

We played both games against Indy early last year, too, and it was after we swept them that they went on their run.

Wait, 4th and 1 at your own 39 is aggressive but it's hardly reckless. I think analytics would say 100% go for it.

I just don't think that time is your opening drive

I think your opening drive is the best time to do it. If you make it, you have a free second possession. If you don't, you have the whole rest of the game to make up for it.

Eh, it also potentially sets a negative tone for the rest of the game if you fail.

Like technically the Bucs had 58 minutes to make up for fumbling the opening kickoff, but it really set the stage for the Chiefs to hit the ground running and never look back.

Apparently cameron brate of the bucs basically had the same situation as tua where he got head hit, sideline was like "yeah okay sure" and put him back out there before removing him later. That because he complained about his shoulder and not his head they were just like "Yeah okay"

That's not true. They very much care about certain players safety. They just don't care about all players safety.

they do care about the appearance of caring about player safety, so they definitely don't want players lying about concussions and these independent doctors letting them go back in

The Rams have had long drives, but haven't come close to finishing one. The field goal is playing the situation.

If you respect the Rams offense you go for it there.

At halftime I kinda thought the 14 SF had might be enough.

The difference in this game isn't that the Rams can't finish a drive, it's that they keep letting 3 yard passes turn into 30 yard passes. It's almost the entire offense of the 49ers.

I saw that Cole Beasley retired with immediate effect to spend time with his family and thought it was a joke and dig at Brady but apparently it's legit. Dude saw what was happening with Brady and didn't want to take the chance
