Everyone knows the Russia military is a joke, no one calls them manly.

But it's mainly due to incompetent leadership.

This is the warfare capability you'd expect for a nation of this size with the same gdp as New York.

Nothing says winning a war like having 300k men hitting the battlefield several months AFTER you lose thousands of miles of territory with no food, no fuel, no weapons and no loyalty.

Putin really is real life zapp branigan. He probably thinks Ukrainians have a pre-set kill limit so he's just sending wave after wave of his own soldiers to the slaughter. I say it as a joke but at the same time it's tragically what's actually happening and it's fucked up.

I worked with a dude named Kirill once (his older brother was also a coworker and was a high school/college friend of mine). He's probably pissed at sharing a name with this asshole, considering he's very pacifistic in nature (and the primary reason their parents decided to immigrate to the US was to avoid their sons having to compulsory-serve in the Russian military)

Russia would have collapsed early on in WW2 if it wasn't for the US supplying them with provisions and vehicles. The only reason they were relevant is they had a ton of meat to throw into the grinder.

The key difference is Russia was the one being invaded and it actually worked there because Russia had nothing to lose and ten thousand fold more willing bodies. It was do or die(frankly good chance to die anyways but better to take some Nazi's down with you then starving to death or being sent to prison camps to starve AND work to death)

Pretty sure virtually everyone who was willing to fight THIS war is already dead or changed their minds already after being humiliated, starved and given rusty guns with no bullets, and moldy bread.

WW2 Russia mass slaughtered civilians. Don't defend them. Their regime was almost as evil as the nazis.

That is the problem with kleptocracy; it's hard to properly fund government programs when the elite are stealing all the tax dollars for themselves.

Fortunately, for NATO and its allies, the military is the one thing in America properly funded. Overly funded, even. I wouldn't feel too safe, though. I am quite sure once the military is the only thing left to pillage from, our own corporate elite will do the same.

I really hope these aren't the weapons they're donating to Ukraine. That would just be rude.

You seal that shit in an air tight bag and it stays viscous for literal decades.

Even if they stored them and it dried up, it would still protect it. You just need to hit it with the brake cleaner and wipe it down.

Any armorer would know that. Ive seen Martinis that spent a century in the sauce that look fresh as a daisy.

Even if they stored them and it dried up, it would still protect it. You just need to hit it with the brake cleaner and wipe it down.

That's assuming the Cosmoline that was put on was of "Good Quality". Properly stored in a good environment.
