specialkid8 09/24/22 8:12:39 PM #1:	Outside of the actual Avengers movies there's. like, three movies that you have to watch to follow the overall story of the franchise. But now every single movie and show that comes out, people bitch and moan that it doesn't tie in and push the narrative forward any. Why did people not care when Iron Man 3 didn't crossover with anything? Or Guardians of the Galaxy? Why are people suddenly pretending to be outraged? Seemed perfectly nestled in the MCU without directly addressing it, and often verges on contradicting the MCU indirectly. You get a few references here and there, plus shoutouts to like Star Wars & Superman or whatever. Nobody wants characters who might not go anywhere unless they really don't need to. A lot of people jumped on to the MCU after big landmark titles (Avengers 1, guardians 1, Black panther, IW/endgame) then watched backwards to fill in gaps Its silly because for IW/Endgame, like 5 titles mattered in terms of plot elements (infinity stones/thanos) but the rest of the titles were important for character development.
