I don't know, that would be difficult to integrate without being cumbersome. I'd rather have a simple map you can toggle which just gives a vague idea of where things are, similar to the map of the lower level of the Chasm.

It occurs to me I haven't done a single hangout event yet. Any primos to be gained from these besides the associated achievements?

Yes, a total of 60 per event

I think it was 60 primos for doing the various endings, and another handful for competing specific achievements hidden within the hangout.

Okay cool. Time to get cracking on those then.

Keep the overall map and then have the DRG map as a local surrounding area thing. This shits too layered on itself for how chasm and chasm underground was done.

Yes, you get 60 per hangout for completing them.

For right now I'd be thrilled if teleport spots had an image of where they are. Plenty of space on the right when you click on them.

Respectfully disagree, I think that having the map be a simple thing you can just glance at for quick reference is important in this game. I don't think the DRG map fits this game well and would feel cumbersome. I'm fine with it being vague and ambiguous at times as a tradeoff for simplicity.

Just having everything be featureless desert is too vague though.

I'm trying to get by without using any outside maps for the underground stuff, and am keeping track of where the entrances are with mining icons on the map. Hopefully will be good enough?

Well obviously they should also do things like show where cave entrances are on the in-game map. And visuals underground marking where sections connect to each other.

The problem with a DRG system is that while it may be great once you learn how to use it, it's very confusing at first and I don't think many players will be motivated to use it.

That's another thing, they couldn't even throw us a bone and give us extra map pins. More icon options also would have been REALLY nice.

We may disagree on how they should have handled mapping this section of the game, but we definitely agree that the way they did it was wrong.

Finally got 100% in all of the desert areas. Ugh. Took forever.

Man, I feel so blue right now. Spent the evening using the interactive map to find all 76 Aranara. Marked them off as I checked each spot, read the comments to make sure I was in the right place. In the end, those stupid 3 final chests won't open and now I have to do all that (sans the mini-game ones at least) again. I'll use a YouTube guide next time. But ugh.

I really need to get cracking on Sumeru exploration to fund my Nahida draws. Highest percent any area has is 67%, and I've hardly touched the desert beyond reaching that first village, so hopefully a lot of delicious primos left to obtain.

Also still need to finish the Aranara forever quest.

Yeah, basically Nahida can utilize her EM scaling as a catalyst to carry Nilou's team alone, allowing you to abuse XQ/Yelan dps.

Nilou: HP and EM 2sets, full HP gear.
Yelan: Emblem, burst dps gear.
Nahida: Gilded, 834+ EM and rest in crit gear.
Kokomi: Deepwood healing gear (if Nilou C2, Kokomi can be whatever)

After playing the first five minutes of the riveting conclusion to the Razor story in this event, I'm kinda wondering how long it'll take the shippers to ship Razor and Sucrose.

Razor is too wholesome for this world.

Also Noelle seems way more confident.

This event is a good reminder of why Monstadt has the best characters.

It's a lot easier than it looks. Just have it run to one of the traps when they activate, then throw your own traps at it when it's dazed and it takes a ton of damage.

Oh not that, that was easy. Endurance is the five stage combat one with the giant robot spam boss. Even with Burst spam going on

To be fair, I have no idea what happened in there. I started with Raiden burst, finished with her E, used Qiqi's E, swapped to Heizou and button mashed my way to victory.

Her C2 just adds more projectiles to her burst right? She does huge damage but is still off-field

She has basically been my "dps" for almost all of Sumeru (C1). Her skill cleans up scattered mushroom mooks nicely, and can refresh her barb shot. Her normals themselves are shit but she can self-drive her burst with them. If there were a bow version of Prototype Amber she could easily solo content on her own.

At C1, even. Coz she cleans up the garbage real fast with those skill+barb uses.
Her C2 is only an application and damage improvement.

But it's still prefered to use her as sub-dps coz her powerful burst can be used while off-field together with any other main dps. Until C6 where she is a legit main dps.

Is she a legit main dps at C6? I thought it gave her a small burst window each rotation but its not constant

I'm seeing speculation that there could be a rerun for Yelan in 3.4, which is rough for me since I really want her but was planning to try for Scaramouche after Childe.

Turns out I missed a whole-ass island, the one covered in fog.

I missed that one for like a month myself. Probably was my least favorite environmental gimmick to date, but otherwise enjoyed it.

It's the only part in the game to catch up to the quality of dragonspine when it comes to music.
I enjoyed it a lot, day/night was badly designed tho
