Barbara is just as good as Kokomi IMO. She has a little bit of downtime sure but it's plenty manageable.

It's kind of weird how the launch 4s are either fucking amazing or complete shit. There's no middle ground.

I'm sure it's because they didn't really understand balancing at the time, but I totally agree. Xiangling alone is un-ironically the strongest DPS in the game with the right team comp (excluding C6 five stars), and Bennett is so good it's stupid.

Hell, Noelle's damage scaling with the right gear and setup is frankly comical.

Fully explored Old Vanarana, even used a guide for all chests...
and still 95%.
100% on every other area.

This was exactly it, thanks for the heads up! I had to use a guide to get the last remaining few lol.
It's really impressive you've explored that much though. I maxed out the current Statue level today and I think I'm missing around 10 oculi and a little over 100 chests, that feels like a decent achievement for now.

A lot of those chests gets fed to you while you're doing sidequests and dailies. I found a large amount of them from confirming the locations of all sealed machines, for example.

I've only "explored" insomuch that I've picked up/unlocked whatever chests were convenient to get while activating waypoints and doing the quests. I probably won't do a thorough search until I get the treasure compass (which will be months away, it looks like).

Tighnari is starting to grow on me a bit. Now that I have a better understanding of how dendro benefits from multiple attacks, I understand his kit a lot better. Would be nice if his charged attacks were a bit more AOE, but I understand why they aren't.

I still think Ganyu is generally better though

Well I remember him posting about how he liked ToF better and wasn't enjoying this game anymore, and he hasn't been posting here since then, so I'm guessing he switched.

Only took me a few hours of playing Tower of Fantasy to realize that the production values were mostly superficial and it's far more egregious with the microtransactions.

Looks like Kuki and Sayu are on the next banner with Candace so I'll probably go through most of my primo hoard. Hopefully can get 4 more Kuki cons to get her c6, and c1 Cyno if I'm lucky.

Nah it depends on how you play and what you prioritize. Everyone who actively plays the game reaches a point where mora stops being an issue, eventually, but when you reach it will be different for everyone.

Found out Cyno has the same birthday as me, so guess I've gotta get him now.

that reminds me of how I LOVED Sara when I first saw an image of her. Kept loving her when she was introduced in the story. Thought it was fate when I saw we share a birthday. But then I used her for that one dungeon and thought her playstyle felt pretty clunky, it was a bummer.

I hate the entire concept behind characters like Sara and Gorou. I get that they're "good" in their niche, but compared to how early 4-stars were, it's kind of a disappointment.

Nahida's skill: Pokemon Snap (remember the recent event). After one snapped Pokemon gets hit by a reaction, all other Pokemon will also take damage. Shitposting aside, she really does mark enemies with a photo.

Nahida's burst: Massive field that buffs based on hydro/pyro/electro characters inside?

C2: Quicken has DEF ignore. Burn and bloom can crit.
C6: Main dps nuker.

So i've been playing catchup on a year's worth of quests in genshin and i've come to the conclusion that genshin has a unique ability to have a metric crap ton of dialog for them to say so very little

like jesus christ, just get on with it, you don't need 5 minutes worth of dialog to convey what could be said in 10 seconds and the skip dialog feature sucks because there's a horribly long delay between "activations".

It's like "ok i get it, let me skip to the next bit"

It can be incredible, coz it basically sounds like "everything you see takes damage" (and whatever other effects her skill leads to).
The event had infinite range iirc and being a snap means no travel time for effect, potentially instant activation

Fayz was a lot of fun on mobile, which is clearly what it was designed for. Dashing away from enemies then stopping time and using your finger to line it up just right so that all your enemies were in frame was very satisfying.

On PC with mouse + keyboard it was okay, but considerably less fun. I never tried it with a controller but I can imagine it being clunky and awkward.

I also enjoyed Aranyaka. I do think it would have been nice of them to break down a lot of it into separate quests you could do (and get reputation points) after the tree was unlocked. Also it would have been nice to cure Rana earlier on so I would have felt more free to take a break and do the Archon Quest.

Hate to be the combo breaker, but Im starting to feel like Sumeru is populated by one Katherine, 10 humans and about 15 million cannibalistic mushrooms that wont shut the fuck up.
