much as you may not like MS/Windows, it's probably better than using an emulator (most/all of which are from China? have to use android studio for something relatively safe but that's a pretty heavy program.)

This is not a "hate windows" (I mean I still hate windows, it has no real use cases) comment but more of why/how I use software in general. I usually have very few installed pieces of software and use web applications for the few things that might need something speciifc that's not a game. I actually had a period where I wanted to write a nvim frontend in angular or whatever (there's one but it's broken / unmaintained) because it solved one of my outstanding unsolved software needs.
