Managed to get to Plat 2. Might not bother trying for 1. Most likely won't bother coming back to plat next season. Officially had my fill.

Honestly Rush Duel looks like a decent amount of fun. I remember seeing some girly card that could shoot up to something ridiculous, like a million attack points. One of these days I'll grab the Switch game.

They added a Revendread Solo Gate and mate, and a handful of forbidden cards are now craftable.

Not gonna spend my UR on forbidden cards atm but its nice have the option I guess

Yaay, 30 UR from the extra Enchantress (and 10 UR from another Enchantress I got during pulling Dragunity).

With Halqi gone, my Sky Striker deck got weaker. Though I will still use it to reach Diamond at least. Two Raigekis and Pankratops could be useful I guess

Ive found the Dark Charmer that got suggested gets the job done in a pinch. (Earth and Fire Charmers are probably safer bets, but I find by the time I want to bring out Accesscode Ive already summoned Kagari/Kaina >_>)

I also went ahead and added an extra copy of Shark Cannon and it definitely helps speed up link climbing.

Just...Selene isnt reliable anymore without a way to guarantee Veiler. Ive been using Unicorn as my stairway to Accesscode but I am probably gonna find a permanent replacement for the witch. >_>

Reject Accesscode and embrace Borrelsword.

Yeah, I am using both Dharc and the light charmer one. I should probably get two shark cannons too as well as a Monster Reborn. Widow Anchor may also help for link climbing

I find shifter to be great Forbidden droplet fodder if it doesnt go off. Can really help get more negates. But I feel you, they really turbo charge my Floos or its just Bricks.

Well, it's just my Rokket bias but Sky Striker certainly benefits more from Accesscode's effects.

Borrelsword just works differently (including being a 'valid' turn one option lmao).

One of these days Im going to build Endyimon but for now I mainly stick to PendMages and Odd-Eyes. Kinda fell in love with those cards since their debut. >_>

Since that last post someone literally opened Imperm AND Nib so even though I played around it with Baronne I still got rocked lmao. I tried looking on MasterDuelMeta and it seems like Nib is usually run at only 1 in most decks. Statistically speaking it shouldnt be a huge concern but...

I actually went first with strikers against an Endymion deck (I loathe that deck btw). Just made a normal Shizuku with Widow Anchor and pass. I Maxx C on my opponents turn in order to stop them but they decided to play instead, after a whole 30 minutes of circus, they summond Dharc charmer and ssd my Raye from the GY, I figured they were going for Accesscode for the sure kill but as soon as they got my Raye, I Nib the fuck out of their field and they surrendered so fast. So yeah, fuck off Branded Despia, Swordsoul and Endymion decks

I would have done the same to ensure the kill, but the existence of Nibiru gives uncertainty and most of the time I ended up losing because the momentum from losing to The Rock is just too high.

Dove into Casual with Odd-Eyes. First time playing against Dinomorphia, and boy are they annoying lol. They literally have a Solemn Judgment searcher what the fuck. Also, their fusion is cute. >_>

But they were greedy and shotgunned their traps. I had saved Harmonizing Magician for last and was fully expecting to get fucked by...something since they still had two set traps left over, but they didn't have an answer and then scooped after I summoned Supreme King Clear Wing. If your deck's gimmick is to go down to like, 12 life points you should probably not leave any monsters in attack position that lose to almost any other deck's normal summon.

Also unrelated but their name was , which translated is "Milk Uyu". And Uyu is Korean for milk. so....their name was "Milk Milk". Guess they like milk lol

Yeah I'm glad it was a cute girl, and I just checked back to realize that I never dusted that one Vampire UR Xyz after all. But for a casual deck, it's kinda expensive to a silly extent...

Pendulum Mirror Match baby! Ahhhhhhh!

Sort of. I was running Odd-Eyes, they were running Mages. But gosh, they went first and I thought I was screwed. SCREWED! But!

Okay so their turn 1 they managed to set up 3 mat Appolousa and a Pendulumgraph trap with two pops. I don't think I can get over this, but the heart of the cards gave me Spiral Flame Strike as my first draw!

I activate OG Odd-Eyes in a scale to proc Flame Strike's destruction and kill Appolousa. After this my comeback is live. I then summon Joker to fetch and activate Arc Pendulum Dragon as my second scale, and they take the bait! They activate the trap and pop both of my scales. But, by activating their trap, they activated my trap. Because I had also opened ASTROGRAPH SORCERER! Shit!

Astrograph summons himself and fetches me another Arc Pendulum Dragon. I set two scales, Odd-Eyes Phantom and Arc Pendulum Dragon. Joker and Astrograph on field. Opponent is out of disruption. The pendulum is swinging in my favor wheennnnnnnnnnnnnn

Added D Shifter to Exosisters, proceeded to bully the hell out of a dinosaur player. (Turns out the nuns have a very good matchup when all your big dick plays make you banish stuff from your graveyard)

Also flipped Gozen when they activated Big Evolution Pill. I feel so scummy >__> Really looking forward to their support, though it looks like it'll still be a good long while before it gets here

Sigh... only if all modes of Cross Duel had the speed up option in the single player. Siiigh only if the user experience was so much better. Honestly gacha rates are pretty low but they somehow managed to make it fair by only letting your 1 ace monster benefit from it. I'd say it's not... that greedy?

The card pool is also kinda lacking atm, but there are clearly a lot of viable strategies.

I really like the game but man it's just a bunch of missed opportunity, like they didn't believe in their product at all

Also TIL Forbidden Droplet can have its effect resolved but nothing happened when the number of monster is less than the cards you used for cost.

I kinda want to make a rokket deck but it seems like borrel/rokket archetype isnt that good by itself.

If they can get going, Rokket/Borrel can absolutely stand their ground.

The problems:

• They rely so much on Striker Dragon resolving, and this is understatement, even more so than Dragon Link.
• If you are using it, Romulus also needs to resolve.
• Dragon Link triangle is Nibiru bait, and even in pure Rokket you need to do it anyway.
• X-rokket Dragons' effect are very good, but they need link monsters, however Borrel monsters with Quick Effect targeting are only Link-4 (Borrel-X) or Link-5 (Borrelend), which can be hard to field if your hand is shit.

Those are pretty much of their problem, at least on my end, albeit the 1st one is rather devastating.

But they ARE good. A bit too balanced compared to other shenanigans, but very, very good.

You have to try them yourselves because I'm a bit biased.

Got a free pull from some secret pack I've never heard of. It gave me the Melodious boss monster.

...looks like I'm building Melodious for Casual mode. Can probably put together something cheeky even without their UR "fusion with materials from the deck" card. If nothing else, Aria + Elegy is funny when your opponent's unprepared for it. >_>

Ran into a Swordsoul player who tech'd in Resonators. Interesting idea that almost worked out for them, I guess. I negated the Chix search, they didn't have Long already in hand so they just normaled a level 2 and went into Baronne lol. Next turn they were about to tag Baronne out to bring Chix back, luckily I had Called. >_>

When you go through Dragunity nonsense just to end up with the usual Seal + Sheou board.

I get the general flow, though I still can't end in Crystal Wing/Borreload Savage + Seal + Sheou without some cards.

And the combo unfortunately isn't long enough to irritate my opponent because they sit through all that nonsense. It's kinda hilarious how Gae Dearg is not once per turn (like Black Metal Dragon).

I spent a good chunk of today looking over all of my decks, making adjustments for the new banlist and deleting a few decks.

* I completely scrapped (deleted the deck and dismantled any cards I wasn't using in other decks) my Danger, Yosenju, Infernoid, Thunder Dragon, and Deskbot decks. The Infernoid deck in particular was an impulse build after I pulled a royal Infernoid Tierra, and I regret building the deck at all.

* I removed the Adventurer engine from every deck I had it in. I didn't dismantle any of the cards (besides the 2nd Enchantress that I can't use due to the new banlist) yet, just in case I might want to use them again. I'll re-evaluate this later.

* I modified a couple of my going 2nd decks to take advantage of the banlist putting Raigeki, Pankratops, and Red Reboot to 2, plus I also adjusted some other decks to try and make up for the tragic death of Crystron Halqifibrax. May he rest in peace.

* I built one new deck: another Sky Striker deck that uses a bunch of floodgates to annoy the shit out of the opponent. I'm talking "Mystic Mine at home" levels of floodgates. This is my stress relief to cope with the tragic death of Crystron Halqifibrax. He shall be avenged.

Trying to see whether the 2nd Pank is worth to be made.

But the banlist has no effect practically on me. None of my active deck uses Halq nor Adventures.

Trying out Dragunity, currently mixing with the Maids. Very fun with not-so lengthy combos. In a way flows better than Rokkets for dragons-only EX deck (Rokkets lock you to dark). Wish I did this sooner.

So now I'm trying to apply Dragunity to several others, like Red-Eyes and Buster Blader.

Edit: Ice Dragon Prison was one of my 'how do people always have this' card back during some events and I'm thinking of @ 3-ing it in some decks.

Edit2: maybe I'll just restrict my Rokkets to pure and Rokket-based Dragon Link.

PendMages is a dream with 2 Double Iris. Being able to guarantee both Pendulumgraph cards so I don't have to choose between consistency and disruption feels amazing. Third Harmonizing also helps.

Halq ban I'm surprisingly not feeling too much. My Sky Striker deck is getting by with Charmers for the Accesscode line, PendMages loses its 1-card Scythe Lock but I'm not even a huge fan of that build and just altered the one I had to use Verte/DPE instead. I guess Zombies is effectively dead, but I only ever used it for casual games anyway lol.

Adventurer Engine, not sure yet. The only deck I was still using it in was Harpies but it's been a while since I dusted them off. Replacing the second Enchantress with Foolish will probably get the job done just as fine.

Also, randomly, the Gozen semi-limit technically hit my Exosister deck, but I had cut it down to two a while ago anyway because 3 felt a little too cloggy lol.

Funny story.

I think my mouse' connector to the plug, or maybe somewhere along the cable, idk, was troubled because I kept hearing the usual sound computer made when you plug-in something. Before, I cleaned the back of my table a bit so maybe my broom hit it a bit.

Then my mouse froze in the middle of the duel, lmao.

Playing floodgate Sky Strikers. It's pretty inconsistent but very oppressive. It's amazing how much flexibility SS gives you with the floodgates. Just turn em off with the field spell or Multirole on a whim basically. Also nobody's running Imperial Order, not that it matters when I'm also running traps.

Honestly running 1 Prosperity, 3 Ashe, 3 Raye, Rota, 2 Engages so there's really no excuse for not being able to start on the SS stuff, and I'm running 4 equips to power up Engage. It doesn't come up as often as I had hoped, would probably need some better engine. Only if Hornet Drones was at at least 2 or so

Why is it every time I get matched against a Blackwing player, they open two of those searcher continuous spells? AND Ash and Maxx C? I had to settle on "Bagooska pass" and they still got their 3000 atk unaffected monster lol.

Did win though and it was hella exciting. Managed to play through their other interruptions and combo out a board that cleared their field with only 400 lifepoints left.

Their biggest misplay was killing Bagooska, funny enough. On their turn they took control of it and used it to attack, then blew it up at the end phase. Had they kept it in defense I don't think I coulda played through it enough to make a comeback.
