People aren't upset, they are just using it as a catalyst to be done with the MCU. The quality has been dropping as of late, and even some CGI companies have complained about how much of a strain the MCU has put on their companies. The quality is dropping, and now ironic inconsistencies like this are popping up, and people are jumping on this bandwagon because it is fun to point out.

A woman twerking DOES NOT revoke the show from being feminist. Theres no irony here.

This is the woman who once got fired for photocopying her ass and not realizing that it was a color photocopier and thus a dead giveaway as to who did it.

I don't think I've seen a single person who is actually angry at the scene. I've mostly seen people just calling it cringy.

It's sort of like the Tobey Maguire dance scene in Spider-Man 3, in that everyone collectively agreed that it was seriously cringe-worthy and tonally inconsistent with the rest of the material. The difference is that emo McGuire became a meme and twerking She-Hulk became yet another one of those "you either like it or you're sexist" things.

In order to have civil debate and actually understand our viewpoints, we can't just go out calling people names, and not explaining why.

You are looking at it like She-Hulk is a real woman. I'm looking at it in the perspective of the viewer. The viewer sees a character complain to a man about how her life is harder than his, and her evidence is "I am a woman". As a viewer, you are supposed to sympathize with her, and understand that yes, there are terrible men, and yes, they do terrible things to women, and even though these two people now share a common power, she will always have more issues in society. It establishes that maybe this MCU character will be different than her comic book portrayal, because obviously they couldn't portray She-Hulk like they do in the comics (imagine that backlash, She-Hulk sleeping with every male superhero).

Then just a few episodes later, the viewer has to watch this same character twerk with Megan Thee Stallion, who's whole schtick is sex. Megan has been on stages humping the ground, so it's safe to say that she is proud to be a sex symbol in our society. Nothing wrong with that, but usually the viewer will now forever link them together. The cat (calling) is out of the bag, no pun intended.

And no, it wasn't a private moment, the windows are glass and they are blaring her music, which would obviously cause a commotion. I just wish they portrayed it accurately, having the whole building shake lol.

Obviously someone on set thought "Let's invite Megan, it'll hit different" and this was the result, and it totally betrayed her character from episode 1. Plus, it was just so incredibly lame.

if a stripper is sexualized for her job, she shouldnt have any problem being sexualized walking down the street or in a store while shopping.
