This is interesting. The crustacea are used to clear the water of mosquito larvae.

It occurs to me that one could use a filtration pitcher like Britta and be kosher.

The story of Beauty and the Beast was aimed to make women open to arranged marriages.
The original 1740 tale stated that the beast was an elephant-fish hybrid. The story mainly revolves around the idea of accepting arranged marriages for the sake of an alliance that was greater than them as a person.

To be more precise, the expiration date is for the bottle itself, and not the water. This is because, over time, the plastic will start leaking into the water.

Have you ever wondered why all those classic cartoons like Bugs Bunny, Tom & Jerry and Mickey Mouse only lasts 7 minutes.

Back in the olden days before TV was invented and before it became really popular you went to the Movie theater(re) (Cinema) for all your news, documentaries, movies and entertainment. You would go in and buy a day pass or whatever and watch everything that was being shown.

Well there quite often be a 10 minute gap between the end of the news segment and the start of the documentary or movie so someone thought what could we do to fill that gap. So someone else thought what about a cartoon? They are cheap and easy to make and would fill that gap perfectly. S thats what they did and which is why they only last around 7 minutes.

Also these cartoons were originally made for ADULTS not children. That is why they are quite violent. Yes they are tame compared to todays cartoons but back 80 - 90 years ago they were considered very violent then.

The reason why we think of them as being for children was that in the 1960's they came across all these old cartoons and wondered what to do with them. They thought about junking them then someone thought what about putting them on TV and letting a whole new generation enjoy them. So thats what they did but the problem was where to put them on TV and they ended up being bunged in with the rest of the Saturday morning cartoons which is why we now think of them as being for children.

Speaking about Tom and Jerry, their first TV show, The Tom and Jerry Show, did not use the slapstick chases and the violence central to the theatrical shorts, due to concerns at the time regarding such material on children's programming.

Tanks are called tanks because when they were first being brought to the fronts in the first world wars they were used the word "TANK" on the crates they shipped them in to hide the nature of what kind of artillery was actually in there.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tank#Etymology

"On 24 December 1915, a meeting took place of the Inter-Departmental Conference (including representatives of the Director of Naval Construction's Committee, the Admiralty, the Ministry of Munitions, and the War Office). Its purpose was to discuss the progress of the plans for what were described as "Caterpillar Machine Gun Destroyers or Land Cruisers." In his autobiography, Albert Gerald Stern (Secretary to the Landship Committee, later head of the Mechanical Warfare Supply Department) says that at that meeting:
Mr. (Thomas J.) Macnamara (M.P., and Parliamentary and Financial Secretary to the Admiralty) then suggested, for secrecy's sake, to change the title of the Landship Committee. Mr. d'Eyncourt agreed that it was very desirable to retain secrecy by all means, and proposed to refer to the vessel as a "Water Carrier". In Government offices, committees and departments are always known by their initials. For this reason I, as Secretary, considered the proposed title totally unsuitable.[a] In our search for a synonymous term, we changed the word "Water Carrier" to "Tank," and became the "Tank Supply" or "T.S." Committee. That is how these weapons came to be called Tanks."
