Do you enjoy driving backwards in racing games in the hopes of crashing into others and ruining their fun?

I'd sometimes race backwards in Super Mario Kart and F-Zero X grand prix races, trying to ram my brothers when we'd play together. But that was for all of our amusement.

Enjoyed the hell out of Driver: San Francisco largely due to being able weaponize cars during races

I've actually gotten modded for posts like this, with the mods saying that "it's misleading."

Yes, but only in the early years of the licensed racing games; Daytona 96 had some of the most realist damage physics in a racing game that I have ever played, and for good reason: Car manufacturers did not like seeing their cars damaged in what was essentially used as demolition derby simulators.

We had it on the computer at school and would load up Talladega, then as the race started, we would start at the back and turn around and try to create the largest chain reaction crash to knock out as many other racers in a single crash. If you hit the handbrake and drifted sideways at the right point you could take out both lanes and potentially the entire field in a single crash.

That reminds me of some arcade game I played. I accidentally rammed a car into the railing and it exploded and stayed out of the race for the rest of the race. Don't know what game it was.

I once figured out you could rack up huge points in Hard Drivin' by taking a hard right-hand turn shortly after the first race started, drive down a side road to a barn, and plow directly into the cow (which would cause the game to let out a loud digitized "Mooooo" sound). Then you could just keep backing up and hitting the cow over and over again until time ran out. It'd put you on the High Score list by a wide margin.

After that, there was literally no reason to do anything else.
