looks like Japan woke up. the UK and Canada were ahead of them in donations and Japan is in a clear second now. I feel like I'm analyzing the Nintendo hour or something.

it's slowed down a bit after really cruising earlier. Japan is really boosting the donations and you can tell when they go to bed.

WA is definitely more popular than SH but I don't know how much the individual numbers mean when like 85% of the pledges are for both. there's some serious SFF there!

just barely made it to a million in 48 hours.

this thing really died. I think it just ran out of fans to reach. a little over 1 million is probably about right, but theres a long way to go so perhaps itll just slowly push towards 1.5 for the next month.

Was about to post the same thing, still a great run all things considered.

That's just how kickstarter works. If you look at the other graphs I posted, every other one also loses momentum by Day 4 or so. It'll trudge along for the rest of the month then pick up steam again at the end.

yeah I know, and agree. I kinda don't expect it to pick up at the end though because there's not much being offered in terms of stretch goals (and that's probably good)

2million stretch goal for penny blood should be to add Sea Mother to the game

The chart in the update from this morning is pretty damn pie in the sky when, but we'll see!

It also implies that Armed has funding priority over Penny, which...not sure if they should have just laid that out like that.

I'd like to back this but I'm having a hard time coming up for a reason to back it when it's already been reached. Maybe if there were some sort of discount for either game I'd be more interested but paying $60 now for a game that isn't 100% guaranteed to ever be released instead of just buying it at launch (maybe after reviews too) just feels like a better idea.

I mean I backed the Wonderful 101 Kickstarter so I'm not immune from these but there really doesn't seem to be a reason to back this early now. In fact with the shipping I'd probably be paying more than if I just bought it from Amazon or Gamestop.

IIRC the ratio is kind of similar to the backers breakdown earlier between those backing exclusively Armed Fantasia and those just backing Penny Blood.
Which would be really stupid when most people are backing both but it's the only explanation I could come up with.

Also, less than 48 hours to go. They'll be across two million shortly and look like they're also going to more than triple the initial goal.
