Jordan was referencing Woods' golf career which began to surge right around the time Jordan retired from the NBA after the 1998 season.

"Tiger played at his peak somewhere toward the end of my career. Then, what changed from that time frame to now is social media, Twitter, and all those types of things that has invaded the personalities and personal time of individuals to the point where people have been able to utilize it to their financial gains and things of that nature."

He can take the beating from Detroit but meanies on Twitter would have destroyed him.

I can't imagine how different my life would be if Twitter and other social media had been around when I was in middle/high school. Probably for the worse.

I assume he'd have a personal grudge against every single person he saw shit talking him online. He'd have a giant list.

Agreed. I mean myspace and youtube was a thing at the time, but smartphones didn't take off yet.

Yeah, I feel like we were the very last generation that was able to enjoy that childhood/adolesence. So lucky.

i dont really see how voluntarily putting your entire life out on social media is a violation of privacy. these celebrities make a conscious choice about a) whether to even use Twitter / social media and b) what they post

I think it mostly depends on how people use the information. Your barista might know where you work but you still expect an element of privacy around that knowledge as it pertains to them.

Basically, just because some info is out there it doesn't mean people can do whatever they want with it.

he says he thinks it's hilarious though but he said he'd also sue if a corporation or company used it

MJ was a massive asshole to everyone around him, so if he took his hot takes, shit talking, and bullshit he said to alienate his kids in public venues onto twitter he'd be rightfully lambasted for it.
