Doesn't this sound familiar to you? Haven't you heard of this before? It's the middle east, where a minority is attached by a majority power. There is a war going on for thousands of years between two sides that will never agree. If the entire country had your shortsightedness we would quickly descend into two groups fighting to the death because neither can see the other side. All that matters is you're right and it is everyone else that is wrong. You'll never stop, even for a moment, to think that others think the same about you.

The end result is no reconciliation occurs.

You....do realize that invading afghanistan and iraq killed millions of people for no reason, right? It was a reaction that gave haliburton a lot of money and contracts. I don't think many historians are going to side with you on this, that the subsequent invasions were really productive.

We could have gotten the specific individuals responsible through special ops in the same way we did without killing millions that were just trying to live out their lives, unaware of america or why why drone struck their weddings.

Republicans in Congress (namely the Senate) that refuse to compromise in any way with Democrats, and the Democrats that roll over for Republicans.

Canada has legalized weed a couple years or so back, so maybe the US will legalize a decade later. Just like how Canada legalized gay marriage a decade before the US did (leader of the free world, my ass). Though maybe not, since keeping weed illegal and criminalized is such a great cash cow for the prison capital of the world (land of the free, my ass).

Not one person involved in 9/11 was from either country and the funding for the attack was by other countries. Neither had anything to do with 9/11, we just needed to lash out like an angry gorilla and saddam was in the crosshairs.
