Still funny that the most expensive ones are box sets, except for Second Stage, which is just $300 on its fuckin own. I bought it for $15 on Amazon when it released lol.

I have no idea. I've never really paid attention to the value of anything I have after I got it.

I'm missing a few albums on my list as well, and a lot of them have no value as no one ever bought or sold a copy on the site.

Maybe a hundred or so, if I returned the ones I haven't de-shrinkwrapped yet.
Most of it is cheap sub-$10 used from Vintage Stock. Not turning down Bob James' Touchdown for $2.50.

Any place that sells moving supplies usually have perfect sized boxes for LPs.

You don't wanna go too big because it gets way too heavy.

That's what I thought when I looked just now. I bought it last year from The Attic for like, $40. Stupid.

I have all my music media logged, but the ~375 cds/VHS/DVD/BD/etc isn't worth a whole lot.

Not surprised that the box sets are worth so much, but it is still surprising that El Cielo is. Big fan of the band, I bought that for like $30 from their site in 2012, before I even had a turntable.

Discogs is useful for looking stuff up but I never really liked the format as a way of keeping track of my collection.

I always consider dropping the cash for El Cielo and CWA, but I don't think it's really worth it for me. Everything after that was bad.

They were a good band live though. My friend so has the Super Audio CD and it sounds amazing. I'm sad that format didn't survive.

Oh I am going to make one after work! Only have about 20 vinyls as of now but sounds fun.

I def get not forking out for El Cielo, that one is ridiculous. I was lucky enough to catch pretty much every official drop from then on and got both the first marble green and second black pressings of CWA. I dig Parrot and do want to get that on vinyl, but Chuckles is pretty bad. Didn't stop me from getting it on a $15 sale haha. I'm thinking about picking up the SA-CD, I've only read praise about that version and I listen to an old mp3 download so it'd be nice to upgrade to a reference digital version. Unfortunately have not seen them live yet, hope to someday if the stars align. One of their last tours in Eurpore they did a bunch of shows with El Cielo and CWA front to back on alternating days... godamn I wish I was there.

The app makes this a hell of a lot easier. Scan the barcode and it usually brings up the correct pressing, but you should do bit of double and triple checking though. Be sure the jacket and labels match that release, and sometimes check the matrix etchings in the dead wax between the recording and the label. If you want to sell - or just know what you actually have - you want to be sure you're selling the correct thing as pressings and variants can have wildy different values.

A relative gave me their vinyl collection and turntable because they knew I was into music and they wanted the space. There's hundreds of albums from the late 60s to early 90s. I never counted them or valued them, but they do get played.

I've added to it a lot over the years, so it's likely around 1,000 now, if I had to guess. Way too much for me to start looking it up now.
