REmake and above is worth playing. 3R and 5 are alright. 0 is bad. Why is Umbrella Chronicles on this list?

2R da best! I never got around to 3R but from what I hear it's a disappointment with how quickly they rushed it out (and with 3 not being as good as 2 anyway >_>). Lol at you skipping right over 6.

While 2R was relatively faithful (except gutting the B scenario and removing some things like the Moth boss) 3R cut things savagely and made several questionable changes to the lore for no reason

I liked 0. I actually didn't like 4. I'm so alone in that, but I thought 4 was only 'okay'. Granted I did play it years after it came out, but the same is true for 0.

Yeah 3R was a fun game for what it was, but as a remake left a lot to be desired.

we finally know why RE4's story was so disjointed from the rest of the series and nothing from the first five games was followed up on

it's because they literally didn't bother making one

and just threw it together in two and a half weeks at the end

shinji hopes if they remake 4 they actually give it a better story

4 > 7 > 2R for me. 4 is good, 7 is alright, 2R is mediocre.

here is my ranking of RE games I've played

I actually loved RE4's story because it's so cheesy. Every line of dialogue is so funny, Salazar's such a memorable villain, Krauser's a fun antagonist, etc. I really don't want them to mess with it at all.

4 > 2R > 1R > 8 > 7 > 2 > 1 > 3 > CV > 3R > 5 > Rev1 > Rev2 > 6 > 0 > Outbreak 2 > Outbreak 1 > Survivor > Dead Aim > Survivor CV > Gaiden

Anything above RE6 is absolutely worth playing. Below RE6 is trash that doesn't deserve a second of your time.
