I got the Christmas box which was the first time I had it in a year and it was still disappointing. The cinnamon rolls were the best part and the breadsticks were near inedible.

Depends on location. Papa John's in my area is decent. But I've had utterly dreck Papa John's from a different area.

Papa John's is constantly in competition with Domino's for best mediocre pizza.
Little Ceasar's is the best bread, cheese, and sauce for your buck.
Find a good, not too expensive, local pizzeria.

I don't think appreciate how difficult it is to make crust, tomato, and cheese taste like cardboard.

When I was in grad school and would eat pretty much anything that was free and even bullshit my way into random events for free food, Little Caeser's was one my few regrets.

Papa John's may give you diabetes and pizza hut is meh, but I don't get how Little Caesars counts as pizza. Shit is on the same tier as Chuck E. Cheese's cardboard with tomato sauce that they call pizza

I like Hunts Brothers gas station pizza better than Papa Johns.

Pizza Hut used to be fine, but it has gotten noticeably worse over the years.

Ave, true to Caesar is great for the price and a good mom & pop pizza joint is the best pizza you can get. There's one a couple towns from me that's got the best pizza I've ever had and it even has a hot girl working there, teehee

I had a simple double Pep / jalapeo from Pizza Hut in Austin a couple of months ago and it was pretty damn good. Was honestly impressed. Dominos one I ordered was pretty bad.
Although I just recently ordered a non trad pizza from Dominos and it was a solid 7: Sausage, red & green peppers, onions, Alfredo base and some Asiago cheese (or something similar).

Papa Johns has always been bad.
I used to only eat Little Caesars cheesy bread back in the day. Worth the health cost.

Tbh Austin has some really great pizza spots but occasionally I like some cheap stuff.

This. You pay extra for shit quality Pizza. Dominos is cheaper, but it's become shit as well. Oddly enough Little Caesars is the cheapest, but for the cheap ingredients they use it doesn't taste quite as shitty as the other two.

Pizza hut used to be legit. Then they got corporatized and started using the cheapest ingredients for "consistency"

Papa John's has been my favorite pizza place since I was a kid. I don't think I've actually had a "bad" pizza from any chain, though.

You cannot say that when literal Dominos exists.

Man I remember when Pizza Hut was SOOOO good back in the 90s. It's sad at what they've become. They've been tearing down some of their old "classic" style Pizza Huts in my area and replacing them with strip mall locations with no dine in options. However, their wings are by far better than any other pizza chain and it's not even close.

Overall I go with Dominos being the best, with Papa Johns just being mediocre.

People really seem to hate delivery pizza in this topic.

This. The Dominoes in my area is damn good, and only the local/family-owned guy beats them. Never really had bad Dominoes tbh. I use to love Pizza Hut, but they suck now... so I agree with you all there.

Dominoes where I live. It's so awful I'm surprised any of their locations are still in business. What blows my mind is they literally just took off garlic bread/fingers off their menu when that was the only thing that was decent. Their pizza sauce somehow... I mean I just don't get it. It was decent, but they purposely made it revolting.

Papa John's is truly the worst, although S'Barro is a serious contender.

It's weird how many people shit on Little Caesars. Maybe the one near me is just better or something because they're always really good.

Yeah Jets is pretty solid. The Eugene Supreme (sausage, onion, banana peppers) is pretty damn good.
