Eventually everybody I know switched to iPhones and their main reasons were iMessage and FaceTime. Also a thing in the dating game since most women use iPhones and many will notice and even point it out. The majority of the world uses WhatsApp as it's cross-platform. Also, when it comes to media sharing, I'll just upload to some cloud service and share the link so that whatever I'm sharing stays in original quality.
