Why?

This. As men have sex and ejaculate they can literally decrease their overall lifespan over time if they overdo it. Men generally have larger bodies and more muscle by default, which also requires more calories to keep healthy and maintain and higher calorie consumption causes the body to work harder to burn it off if the person doesn't get lots of exercise regularly and there seems to be a direct connection between higher calorie consumption and organ problems which also resorts in a shorter lifespan in the long run. Men tend to like to consume meat and fatty foods more which also aren't good for the body and causes organ problems. Men tend to be more aggressive which could lead to physical confrontations which serious, lasting bodily harm could be incurred.

Not to say women can't have some of these issues, but men tend to have problems because of these reasons more.

Being completely pragmatic, my kids would be much more devastated with my wife dying. Shes their mum, after all.

There. would be some hormonal differences like more testosterone actually affects your immune system more negatively and make you more suspectible to diseases..

But from a cultural perspective..

Women tend to eat healthier, go to doctor visits more often and tend to be more social. Overall they take their health more seriously, while men eat more unhealthy good, are culturally more stubborn with checking in with doctors a d their health, bottle their feelings more and have less friends. Men also take more risks, so they die more from accidents as well.

while I have no sources to back it up I would go out on a limb and claim that more men live less healthy lives in general. Alcohol consumption, smoking, bad nutrition.

Me, I'd prefer, when my kids are older, that they have more time without their dad than without their mum.

Realistically and biologically speaking, a lot of it is about the testosterone.

Men are typically larger and typically put more wear and tear on their bodies than women do.

Men are more likely to do dangerous stuff. Also, Women are far more likely to go to doctors when they have issues, even minor issues. So its mote likely for them to catch smaller problems before they get out of hand.

The average man probably has a tougher life than the average woman, and it compels him to drink more.

I think some of it can be chalked up to riskier behavior being more common in men than women, partially through men being allowed to get away with way more shit because it's perceived that we can take it. More self-inflicted drink, smoke and injury-related conditions are common in men than women.

What do u mean about the fat?

mix of hyper-masculinity causing many men to delay health care or semi brag about shitty health habits, a poor health safety net that leaves many men too poor to regularly seek and receive high quality health care and a mix of biological factors that apparently leave men more prone to severe disease outcomes (being significantly overweight seems to much more severely impact men for whatever reason)

I think the reason is what is now nonexistent.....biology.

Anyway, per biological terms, a womans extra weight goes to their butts to protect the ovaries.
And a mans extra weight goes to their stomachs to protect the testes.

Guys generally marry younger, or in some cases much younger woman so it's not odd they end up dying beforehand. I mean, if a 35yo man marries a 25yo woman odds are the latter has a much higher chance of surviving the next 60 years than former.

Sperm might actually have alot of vitamins or minerals. It also might have something to do with testosterone levels
u do know that low testosterone in men causes serious health problems, right?
