They want people to know that they dislike the dudes

Why? Because they want to feel special? Don't answer that, it is because they want to feel special. Ultimately, that's really all what cancel culture amounts to nowadays anyway.

By this logic, you are letting people know you dislike them because you want to feel special.

1. As above, the problem with the debate is that you can't have it without people calling you a bigot. Really hitting things off on a home run here
2. Shapiro: I used to be libertarian but then I had kids and realised we're all "swimming in the same pool", so I want my values to be reflected in society. (Actually don't think this is a bad point in itself, but then...)
3. More specifically, I don't want your toxic sludge values to be the norm in reality. (Toxic sludge I guess refers to trans people, gender fluidity, etc.)
4. Peterson: just because you have femme personality traits doesn't mean you're a woman (gosh how does everyone not realise this man is a genius already?)
5. btw "feminine" in Peterson's worldview means that you're creative and "masculine" means that you're interested in things. Cos you know, women like art and flowers and guys like fixing cars
6. Mick Jagger and David Bowie and Madonna are examples of people who are androgynous and cool. (See, gender is pretty straight forward. You can wear tight pants and act sexy and still be a man. I am very intelligent. )

• Peterson: The problem with therapy these days is that they're just rubber stamping "trans" instead of helping people with their problems. See I'm a real therapist, and when people come to me with their problems I take time to try and figure them out. (Massive lol at this. Hey trans people of CE, was that your experience? I bet it was really super easy to just say "i'm trans" and every doctor, therapist, nurse, family member etc. just unilaterally accepted that position and didn't even bother arguing or discussing any of your personal experiences or trauma)
• This goes on for a bit with several examples, but it really feels pointless to list them out because every single one is based on this idea that all therapists do is completely agree with your personal assessments about yourself with no questions asked
• Fear is something you unlearn through exposure, so if you're scared of your gender identity the sort of therapy you need needs to be curative. They didn't elaborate on this much but the implication is there. If you're not identifying as a man or a woman you need to be cured through some kind of exposure therapy.
• The family unit is the strongest and best unit of all, and that means a daddy and a mommy and loving children and without this the entire universe will fall to chaos (i'm really not joking here, this is how the clip ends)

Majority of this mans thoughts for the last 5-6 years have been about transgenderism.

Concern of what? I am trans. I have transitioned physically fully. I'm not dying because of it. What concerns are there?

Well, we want to clearly go to every non-trans person and make them into the opposite sex.

Why else would they be so worried about us? They know that's our end goal.

social contagion has always been a thing, celebrity suicide / self harm like cutting / anorexia and so on. and the liberal position 20 years ago and longer have been keep idealogy away from children since the validity of the truth should be persuasive and natural to those growing up. get those christians away from children and so on. lets be rational was the rallying cry of the democrat side years ago and now its obviously not like that anymore since woke took over.

You know Peterson is Canadian and they wanted to have a law or some policy passed where you had to use they/them or any other non-he/she pronouns used if a transsexual person asked for it. If not you're liable to lose your job and if made law eventually pay fines and when fines aren't paid a person could literally go to jail. He wasn't protected by free speech laws and Peterson would have to interact with these individuals as a professor. Peterson at the start of his notoriety was of the position that he could be persuaded to respect a transsexual person to be called by their preferred gendered pronoun, such as MtF being called she, but had made his case against compelled speech especially with made up pronouns being foisted upon him like xe/xher.

there are books on this if you sincerely want to look into how children are being steered towards this by teachers and counselors. transitioning is not sold as harsh and drastic but as trendy and powerful with all the affirmation and celebration given to some of these kids who may have never had such positivity given to them before. the problem gets truly drastic by irreversible treatment being administered to said kids to transition. since gfaqs is so authoritarian in its mod policy when discussing this topic; this is about as far as i can say about it in posts.
