*Needs to do something like this.

So you're weak as fuck right. Your strength sucks, your dexterity sucks, your HP sucks, and your magic sucks.

However, your luck is maxed. Say a giant is coming towards you and he is about to obliterate your ass. Well, due to luck, it so happens that this giant trips on a rock right before he comes close enough to hit you, and impales his head on a mammoth skull's tusk. Dead.

You are about to storm the guards barracks to look for an important item. You don't stand a chance in hell. Even your sneak sucks. But guess what? You just so happened to show up on the day that everyone has diarrhea and stayed in bed. Why? They all got drunk the night before or they ate something bad. Lucky you. You can sneak around with your pathetic sneak skills and obtain the item you seek, having only to avoid the guards that weren't at the party/didn't eat the food.

A minotaur is about to punch you in the face. Just before he does so, he farts which has enough force to whirl him around and make him punch himself.

He runs towards you but all of a sudden there is a bear trap in front of him and it chombs his leg enabling you to kill him or escape.

Also there should be weird things happening around you like a rain effect where the rain hits everything except for you. Stuff like that.

Luck tends to either be a total waste of points or stupidly broken

This is a very cool concept but would be really hard to implement, I think

Luck is a stat for rogues and thieves.

Pumping your shit into magic ain't gonna help the sword swing harder or faster. Same\same

Games should use luck instead of HP. Someone hit you with their sword, but luckily it was a glancing blow. They threw a grenade at you, but luckily it rolled further than they meant it to. You can improve your chances by getting better armor or skill...but sooner or later, everyone's luck runs out.

And the consumables could be like four leaf clovers and shit.

I feel ya. It would be easy if there was some indie RPG that explained stuff through text (monster attempts to hit you, but due to your luck, they miss and fall off a cliff.) but it wouldn't be nearly as cool. Or maybe it would, if it was a good game lol.

Yeah. It's either too low, or too high.
