Does this count as plagiarism or is it just a coincidence?

Fans: Blizzard, could you maybe take a few lessons from how final fantasy keeps old content relevant, or how they actually thread storylines through multiple expansions, or how they use quality of life features to make raiding fun?

Blizzard: don't worry fans, we hear you loud and clear *copies art assets and marketing material*

I've seen these posts, there's so much reaching lol, same style of shapes and colors can be seen across the game with stuff like the naaru and draenei architecture and stuff like that, the funny one i saw was that they copied shadowbringers and called the expac shadowlands because of it, but the shadowlands have been a thing since wow's inception...

but don't worry, blizz is such a shitshow that even if they were actively copying shit they're just gonna die anyways if they don't get their shit together

What does FF14 do to keep old content relevant?

What does FF14 do to keep old content relevant?

Well, there's the tomestone system which incentivizes using the roulettes so that new players can always find a party. There's also the bonuses you get for helping someone through a dungeon for the first time. There's also the fact that the relic weapon quests usually involve having to go into old dungeons and zones to do fates. Or the fact that the Ultimate difficulty and the new rotating "Unreal" difficulty pulls old trials forward as new challenges. Or the fact that patch content quests regularly require going back to old zones. And of course once you factor in that the story actually drops relevant plot details like 2 expansions prior to a revelation means lore fans are constantly scouring old content for hints of new plot details.

Hell, the roulette system alone means anyone can queue up for any dungeon from any expansion and the wait time to get a party will be no longer than running any other content.

EDIT: Oh! I also forgot Chloe's weekly stamp challenge which has some pretty good rewards that require going into old content.
EDIT X2: Or the fashion report which can reap max rewards using armor drops from old dungeons.

The original core concepts of Warcraft and Starcraft were just straight ripoff of material from Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40k respectively

They have a long history of this stuff
