My parents aren't well off, but their house is paid off and they have no major debts that I know of, so probably between 50k-100k from selling the house

My uncle will probably be homeless within six months and there's no way in hell anyone in my family is helping him out or taking him in. He hasn't worked in decades, my grandmother could never retire and worked herself to death paying all his bills. He's finally burning through the last of his portion of the inheritance from her and once that's gone he's on his own as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, I think every family takes care of their own, but there's always a limit, conscious or not

My aunt has an estimated worth of 3 mil with no family or children to speak off. She's 88 and still going strong.

The issue is that I think she's going to donate all of her cash to her favorite church. Her basement is LOADED with silver and gold. I have no other family left except druggies and a retired millionaire cousin.
