Especially with all those social media trends. Im tired of talking to these mentally drained teachers every day. These kids are stealing their shit and they feel hopeless because nothing really happens to kids. Juvie wont even take any kids in unless its a mandatory domestic violence

The new trend the last 2-3 years is walking down streets checking door handles, to either steal the car or burglarize it.

Found a dumped car in a parking lot this morning. The owner just sat there and cried until her family came for her. They stole her brand new car, totaled it, all tires were flat down to rim, smoked weed inside and burn the upholstery and console. I found 8 different car keys in there and several credit cards. They used her card to spend 600 dollars at the champion store

And now, every day we have to stop taking calls and sit at the high schools when school gets out because rival gangs want to fight after school.

I had to take a report for a kid who purposely got told to leave by the bus driver, so her nephew and 10 of his friends could show up and throw him to the ground and stomp him out in the middle of the road

/rant over

To be fair we did plug them into toxic internet all day, I'd be pretty fucked up if my parents just said "here is an ipad with a youtube playlist where a strange foreign video farm algorithm made countless videos of pregnant elsa being abducted by off brand spiderman, ingest this non stop during your formative years, also the world is on fire and everybody is sad and dying."

I'd blame the parents but they all have to work 2 jobs not to be homeless.

No I blame the corrupt people with all the money/power that poisoned us all.

There are people who knowing tweak algorithms to make us more angry because it increases engagement. Anybody who thinks like that or does shit like that is who I blame.

If you could see the reality of it, I think youd be flabbergasted. For example, you can divide kids into 2 main groups (or 3, or 4, or 5 or 6or6r8. But for the sake of simplicity. We stick with 2) 2 groups!!!!! everyone.

1.) good kids who would honestly rather die than ever have to really hurt anybody
2.) bad kids who would honestly rather hurt somebody for personal gain when it came down to it

over time, many generations pass, and these two groups of people fluctuate dominance for more power & freedom. Or to reclaim a loss. They fluctuate as other groups fluctuate. For example, suddenly an isolated and extremely large group may suddenly become exposed to another. This changes the equation. How a country is doing economically (as a whole, or just rich vs poor) effects it too. Everything effects it. But basically, as we advance (continuous gain) as a society (at least in some ways, scientific knowledge being a huge one)... they tussle & slip together for dominance. Like 2 cells growing side by side at uneven proportions........

Pendulum effect involving schools of thought in morality encompassing our populations in this case is creating the illusion that kids are getting worse, when in fact kids are getting much smarter & more peaceful as we development smarter & safer solutions to problems. But basically, these kids said Dad was too slow. We got a lot done but its time to finish the job. Because we can. Why not? Its the logical thing to do. Im gonna something new while also keeping in place what my predecessor did! Dad stopped doing what Grandad did, because he needed to, but now we have room to bring back the old ways. Space for more? Resurrect the best! Grandad was a dick but he got it done! Hellyea the 50s & 60s LoL!

Aaaand the conditions surrounding that were supportive, so basically we have a generation of kids who are extremely angsty (like their Granddads) despite their Dads telling them not to be because theres no reason to be anyway and we basically have what we want. They do it anyway. Haha. We were able to predict that and now theyre busy making sure their Grandads are never resurrected and their Dads have a good chance of unlocking the fountain of youth. Depending on the old people, I'm right there with them.

The old generation that hoarded power and money and legitimately didn't care about the next generation, I don't respect them.

Security Cameras changed how crime was committed. Then the internet. Now we have microphones the size of pinheads, and everything is recorded basically.

Does that mean less crime? Does it mean that the crimes that do happen will be worse? Are we also fostering some undue aggression to spur people out of laziness in this techy age? Also, the individual recently gained the voice of a thousand countries via social media. So, thats gonna make people do some wild stuff. Serious civil crimes have been committed over the past 2 generations and they are still happening today. People are speaking against that and they know if theyre getting stronger or weaker or winning or losing (more or less)

... so, yea

I do think kids are more aggressive today.

Whats going to happen is ... either a lesser violent group will accidentally blow everyone up, or maybe we get blown up by a meteor, and if those two things dont occur........ eventually people will kick out a powerful utopian generation that will lock everything down using powerful knowledge & technology. The final possibility is that we get taken over by our own AI. lol

imagine some rogue program snowballing, jumping into an isolated piece of hardware, and beginning its conquest XD

I'd be surprised if this was a universal truth rather than specific shitty areas

Violence and violent crime is on a decline in the US and globally and has been for decades

Covid probably made it even less violent

At the same time kids are fat and slaves too their phones

When I was growing up kids beat the shit out of each other every day

now I'm surprised when I see kids running around in a park

The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers.
