2.5k-building a bedroom wall
2k-repainting the loft 0.5k-materials for the former 5k-bedroom furniture 1.5k-new mattress 2.5k-new couch 3.5k-new electric/app window curtains 8k-redoing all lighting 2.5k-misc (bath towels, coffee table, artwork etc) still haven't finalized the lighting yet and have some of the misc items to fill out, but that's the budget now as we near the end ... That's awesome, just this week I had them put in a 40,000 gallon shark aquarium in my back yard and had a gold toilet installed. I would have bought the sink too but it wouldn't fit in my Lambo.

My apt was similarly upgraded for apparently around 10k. Rent was bumped up by a lot as a result but it had never been raised in the 8 years I had been here prior (and is still low for this area) so I am okay with that. My kitchen and bathroom feel like a real kitchen and bathroom now as opposed to "how we turn this leftover space into a kitchen and bathroom so that we can advertise it as such?"
