Both shots were just a sore arm for a few days. Same thing usually happens when I get the flu shot.

When I took my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, the next day saw me every bit as fatigued as when I actually had COVID-19. There was none of the accompanying discomfort, but I couldn't wake up feeling refreshed no matter how much I slept. I legitimately didn't feel safe to drive that day. (And I didn't. I had someone bring me food.) The second dose was much easier. I felt ever-so-slightly fatigued. Nothing major.

I got both doses on Saturdays so that I would have the accompanying Sundays to recover.

IIRC, that's actually kind of common for people who had covid before getting the vaccine.

I felt fine for a few days and then suddenly fake flu hit me like a truck. Felt better again the next day.

Ah. I guess that's good for me then since it means I don't have some exaggerated reaction. I feel bad for others who were fatigued though - especially if they had something to do that day.

First shot made my arm hurt like hell for two days, had pretty bad chills the first night (we're talking "need to hold a wall for balance when walking to the bathroom because I'm shivering so intensely it's hard to stay on my feet" bad) and felt kind of crummy in general but nothing too serious. Second shot brought arm pain but not nearly as bad and a bit of the crummy feeling but also milder, no chills that time, all around a lot more pleasant than the first one. This was with Moderna

My mom and I got it same day, and we both ended up being tired as hell for three days.

My (now ex) partner got it two weeks before me and she had terrible cramps to the point where she started crying in her sleep.

I had Moderna. My first shot made me so tired I slept for 14 hours straight and I had a sore arm. Second shot made me tired, but not as much...and also a sore arm.

Not really, though the pain at the injection lingered for about 2 weeks after the second one. That's happened with me before so I don't necessarily chalk it up to the vaccine but it was very uncomfortable, like having a throbbing tooth except on my upper arm.

It certainly beats risking dying a terrible death or getting sick/permanent health problems.

Me- J&J- Sore the next day. Felt fine after that.

Brother in Law - Pfizer first dose- Dead 36 hours later. No, Im not joking.

I was administered the first dose recently.

I experienced a gamut of unwelcome side effects, including but not limited to:

Chills
Hot flushes
Insomnia due to said chills and hot flushes
Fever
Muscle aches
Nausea
Loose and watery stools
Fatigue

However, my attitude towards that motley assortment of temporary ailments was and remains that unpleasant as the experience was, it was infinitely preferable to contracting the virus, being hospitalised and/or popping my clogs. I would happily have another dose (and I shall, next month).

Hang in there my friend.

You at least arrived at the correct conclusion - whatever the vax does to you is a fraction of what the virus will.

No one ever said doing what's right is easy, but you did it. Thank you.

I felt absolutely horrendous Day 2 after my 2nd Moderna shot.

Sore arms are normal for all vaccines, just have to work the arm out with stretches or some push-ups or something to help ease the soreness out.

I did have some weird fatigue in one leg, like I had been running several miles or something. But I guess that's also a possible symptom.

i felt fine the day that I got my shot but woke up the next morning with cold sweats. I probably had a good 12 hours of freezing my ass off and shivering.

First 24 hours - minor soreness.
2nd day - all my joints were aching, felt arthritic.
3rd day - in bed all day, slight fever.
4th day - 100% again

I got Pfzier for both Shots 1 & 2.

Zero Side Effects on either one.

Sore arm after the first Moderna shot. Second shot I was sort of tiredish/sore, but took some Tylenol and actually did better than the first shot.

I felt sick for like maybe 16 hours after the 2nd moderna shot

Both doses made my arm sore, but I think that's meant to happen

1st shot: Only arm pain

2nd shot: literally the day before my bday. It was bad..... shivers, muscle aches, felt a bit sick, big headache, and yea.. pretty much ruined my bday yet i still did activities and felt better by the end of the day.

Got it in the evening. Next morning felt like there were butterflies in my stomach. That afternoon was basically a bad hangover with a fever. Headache, stomachache, tried to sleep the thing off. Was fine by the next morning.

Got moderna and the only side effect besides the sore arm was I felt tired the 2nd day of the 2nd shot

I have noticed that since the shot, my cel service has been amazing no matter where I go. Also, I get stuck to metal stuff sometimes.. Not sure what that's about, but it's a minor inconvenience, so whatever.

I had a headache, was extremely tired, and I was very heat and light sensitive for several weeks. Also, my arm hurt for a few days. Worth it to not get the coronavirus, though.
